BILL WILLS hosted the "WTAM 80th Anniversary Special" that was broadcast on December 24th 2003. Much of his narration was edited away by RU-vid copyright as The Beatles "Birthday" was used. I also edited away some very raw humor. Damn. Herb Score, Nev Chandler, Gary Dee, and Pete Franklin...JFC. I was just a kid during this era. The memories are so deep. I can hear my grandfather laughing to Gary Dee and turning Nev's broadcast up and down, depending on how the Browns were doing. AM radio...damn. Hard to believe Triv is gone.

I grew up in the 70”s listening to Pete Franklin. He was my social life in High School 😂

Peter J. Franklin had his "Pigskin Pete's NFL Draft Preview," and had young Mel Kuiper as a guest. That basically started the NFL Draft as entertainment. I'm very sorry I lost the C&W sounds of the Great Swami from Pete's show. I think Chris Berman stole that also. Nev Chandler was a top play-by-play man, who did fantastic impressions of people. Very funny guy. Gary Dee of Hope, Arkansas, could not do his show today, and he was mainly associated with WHK. Herb Score had a lot of tragedy in his life, especially that last accident near New Philadelphia - of all places. These personalities demonstrate the large role of luck in life.
