The only advantage of the Champions League not being on ITV is that we don't have to hear Clive Tyldesley constantly refer to "that night in Barcelona/Istanbul" every single game that is on the telly, even when Man United or Liverpool aren't playing. Believe it or not, he was a big Evertonian as a youngster. Anyway, I must admit that I had Sky years ago but I cancelled my subscription & I'm not signing up to BT. I'm sorry but the greed in the English game is appalling. I, and many other fans, go to few Arsenal games because I was priced out & I can guarantee my seats were taken by a chap called Hugh, who drives a BMW 7 Series, and has children named Oscar & Cedric! It's appalling how Premiership teams get money coming in from Sky & BT, yet charge extortionate amounts for tickets. It's also a bloody joke how BT & Sky get billions from advertising yet want to charge us a high amount too!
