The American Spectator honors Gary Sinise for his charitable service as an advocate of America's servicemen and women. He began the Gary Sinise Foundation in 2011 with the mission of providing support to our nation's defenders--veterans, first responders, and their families. Mr. Sinise has been working in Hollywood since 1978, starring in films such as Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, and The Green Mile.

I have a friend here that was part of the Mogadishu calamity. He was part of the Delta Force and was one of those that had to run out of the city. He, to me and many others, has shown what heroes are made of.

Gary Sinese...Mr. Wannabe warrior who gets "honorary" this and that titles. He could have joined the military he loves so much...but apparently he did not. He didn't have the Draft make that happen for him.
