cant wait to watch this man play on the Raptors, really sad Norman is gone but hes going to get upwards of 20 million atleast as a unrestricted free agent, raptors get younger with Gary and have his RFA rights.
I agree, Gary will be in the ballpark of 8-12 million and could potentially be better then Norman Powell in 1-2 years. Kinda cool for the Raptors to have a true shooting gaurd for the first time in a while
@@seanstours3913 Gary turned down a 4 year, 53M contract extension from the Blazers in December, he’s more likely to sign for around 18 million. Norm is an UFA where teams have a lot of interest in him. Pacers are apparently willing to overpay for him in free agency, we couldnt risk the UFA game again, we lost ibaka, Gasol, Kawhi literally all in 2 seasons.
@@pimplol alright did not know Portland offered him an extension and he declined, 18 million for Gary Trent jr damn that seems high. But he does look promising for sure, that shooting form is clean....he reminds me a bit of Terrance Ross
@@seanstours3913 id say he’s going to get around 16-18M realistically, and that isn’t bad at all, really. Players mainly get paid based on potential and the skies the limit for Trent, he was shooting 40% from 3 in Portland on a lot of attempts. He’s already elite defensively on ball, and the raptors development will turn him into an absolute stud.
