I still remember how A Warrior is A Child played before the end of our Annual Youth Seminar done in my University. I cried a lot. Our seminar starts with laughter and end with tears. It made us realize how to value our parents and the opportunity to have a good education provided by our parents. It’s like after done, I can’t help myself to go home and tell my parents how I love them very much to the point that my parents is asking if something wrong happened to me or I’m just crazy haha. I truly love the song 😊❤️

He's feeling the song because of all the struggles he's gone through his life such as surviving cancer, understanding his recent diagnosis of diabetes, depression and bipolar disorders and surviving a couple attempts of ending his life. The song the warrior is a child hits home to him.

There is a story behind the song the warrior is a child. It is composed by Gary V himself!! There was a beautiful child actress that died at a very young age, at her wake was a famous actor kneeling and crying Gary saw this and wrote the song on the spot.

Gary had Juvenile Diabetes and was told by his doctor that he wont live past his 30s. He is now in his mid 50s. Last year he also survived an open heart surgery and cancer in one blow. He is now cancer free.

This song really just got me in tears. I was called in for a kidney donor last week but only to be cancelled when I got to the hospital. As a dialysis patient for ten years this really touch me. I love Gary V and I had to go back to this reaction because girl you’re awesome as always

Fact: gary has been diabetic for how many decades bt it never stopped him from dancing,singing,writing songs and praising god. He even had 2 surgeries at his age now bt still he survived. FYI..Gary V.. was a Stage 2 Diabetic since then up to now.. That's why he Embraced God so much for Keeping him alive & active up to now!! He is a Singer/Artist icon of PH Entertainment Industry..and a Talent Minister of their Christian group..Glad He is still with Us and Keep Us entertained of his God given talent..(Hallelujah)
