I tried that as well. I just can’t get it to work and it’s probably cause I don’t want to move mods and still risk it not working.

I haven’t watched it back but I believe the Crit Hits from GAS are making it so he can’t use that ability by increasing JML cool downs or JML just doesn’t use the They Grow Beyond attack when he is by himself. Have to watch again. Used this counter today in GAC but with Ahsoka in place of Fives and it worked perfectly.

It surprisingly works really well. Just used it a few days ago against a JML lead with Bastila and was surprised it worked against that as well.

I think that will be enough. I know I have had others that said it worked with Speed around yours. It’s the counter attacks that do most of the works and offense is the biggest player in that.

Sad that you got wiped! GAS is really the main thing. I have modded with an offense set and health set. Protection triangle offense cross. He is 258 speed and has 9600 offense.

GAS has 73k health and 98k protection with 9600 offense. Armor is 60%. Their JML has 11,200 offense.

@@jkonko I don’t think the relics matter on the other clones. It all comes down to GAS. You should be good. I do think that having some decent speed on GAS will help. Maybe 260 or higher. Mine is just below that at 258! Going to increase his speed just a little to see if it makes success more certain.

I have a Offense Set with Health Set. 258 speed 9600 offense. Offense Cross Protection Triangle.

@@kiaowe007 Thank you for the wonderful info and video. My GAS is at 68k Health, 90.7k Protection with 9011 offense and 248(91) speed. It still worked. Like you said, GAS alone is enough to make it work, but definitely needs the high offense. Do you agree?

So far it’s been 100% in GAC for me. I will have to look at the final standing to see how effective it was in swgoh.gg. I think a lot comes down to modding but who knows. That blows you have had such bad luck.

@@kiaowe007 I wonder if speed on Gas played a huge deal. My Gas is only at 231 because I need him to be slower than JKL for the Rey nuke counter. In one of my loss I had gas 1v1 JML but because gas sort of ability blocked JML forever, JML just keeps on doing his basic which crits and can't be countered, so gas just couldn't keep up and died shortly. In the latest try, JML dazed Gas so, again, no counter from gas to top himself up. and Bastila stunned gas to add salt to the injury and it's a quick death after that. In this latest battle I actually managed to have gas kneel 3x so i was really hyped about his damage boosted, but yeah never got a chance.

@@kiaowe007 I've just tried this with GAS, Echo, Ahsoka and I won. Both Echo and Ahsoka died pretty fast. I wonder if it really matters which 501st allies you take. I think modding your GAS for health and damage is the most important thing with decent speed as well, those things will all help to mitigate the risk of the badly timed Bastila stun. For reference my GAS had 86k health, 278 speed, 222% CD and 7875 damage.

@@saxmarinio That is some good information right there. Thanks! I tried with Arc and it didn’t go well at all so I just went back to echo. Will have to play around with it. I think having GAS faster helps as well. I think I need to make mine a little faster.

@@K3nVV I just fought it in GAC using GAS, Ahsoka and Echo and it worked like a charm!

I think speed helps with getting to go more often with TM. Mine is around 260.

That video is 2 years old. It worked back then. Doesn’t work now especially with Datacrons. Annald himself used this and told people to watch this video because it worked a long time ago. Sorry if you tried it recently.
