Need to make a presentation on this for my biology class. Safe to say I found this more helpful than my actual lesson on the topic. Brilliantly constructed and really helpful!
Thanks for the video! I have a question about stomata which this video omits, and it is regarding stomata opening depending on temperature. They say if you want to utilise extra supplement of CO2 to plants you also need to increase the temperature, allegedly it opens up stomata. Wouldn't the plant be trying to conserve water by closing the stomata in higher temperatures?
JoshTheBoss I assume the temperature increase will be useful up to a certain limit. After that, the plant will begin to lose too much water, and the stomata will shut. So it's all about balance. Are you revising limiting factors of photosynthesis?
I have a question. So,though the respiration process glucose and Oxygen are used and produces CO2 and water...if that is so,then how are animals getting oxygen from the atmosphere if plants are using the oxygen on their own?
