@@gasmaskcollectorreview1537 I watch your other video...specially the military haul and I saw one thing there that reminds me my father...thanks to your video..❤
I love these masks so much, I started off with a gp - 5 (swapped filter with a NATO filter lmao) and ended up with 4 more Russian mask, then ended up buying American masks.
The swiss filter you have is Swiss and it makes a perfect fit in the canister. I have five of them and you usually end up scratching the filter when opening the container because it is so hard to open. I do not know how they got them in there but I assume it's sealed well enough to work if I ever needed it to.
Does the M61 filters on your m50 leak charcoal? I noticed that with mine, the white self sealing valve disks are coated on the underside with a bit of charcoal dust. I’ve heard that this is apparently an inherent issue with the M61 filters, and I was wondering if other people have observed the same problem
@@gasmaskcollectorreview1537 odd cuz I emailed Avon about it and they said it’s normal for it to occur. Are your M61 filters new? Cuz mine were vacuum sealed as opposed to being used and opened prior to my ownership
The original Israeli gas mask is actually the German simplex gas mask. So if you ever see that buy that cuz it has parts made in Germany and is very common Israeli surplus gas mask. The later Israeli civilian gas mask was an updated design manufactured in Israel with a drinking tube and with the Israeli M15 gas mask for military use by the Israeli military(similar to the m65 gas mask for Germany Military). The Israeli/German simplex gas mask is very common right now and is very good.
