its not much different than an inductive pickup on the aternator. its amazing how these alternators that are reman dont have a pickup already wired in it would only make sense to sell reman alternators with them installed !
so the Crank sensor gets 1 ground , 12v + input 1 and on the Signal you tap off 12v+ to an inline 1K ohm resister out to the tach signal input and also to the 3rd port on the sensor/ signal port.
I’d find it easier if the wires were better organized and a schematic were included. It’s difficult to know what to look at with such close images and not knowing what to look at. But I’m old. What do I know?
