If the boiler is a few years old those cartridges will be seized in , the best way I have found to release them is I modified a box spanner and welded a 1/2 inch socket to it and I use a 600 mm breaker bar to crack the seal , you may also find using a wobble adapter on the end of the bar will get the job done depending which boiler it is , put plenty of silicone grease on the new one and it will go back in easy....👍

great video but i wish you would have continued, i have a similar problem with same boiler, when i call for demand the sensor lights up but it doesn't fire the boiler up meaning there's another problem somewhere else

I was about to change an ariston microgenus 24 yesterday because the hall effect sensor was fauty. Wish I had seen this video a while ago as it would have saved me a lot of headache.

So you never changed the boiler?
@CommercialGasEngineerVideos

@@johnburns4017 Nope, went there yesterday to size up for a replacement and whilst doing so found the fault. Made a video on my channel of how I temporarily fixed it.

Hello, you are giving very good technical information. I wish you would add the explanation feature with Turkish subtitles, I don't know English. I write this translation to Google as an English translation and send it to you. We would be very happy if you add Turkish subtitles to your videos.

@@AllenHart999 yes, i just did the fault finding course and it was absolutely brilliant, however when fault finding on the fancy glass fronted 8000 instead of removing the wiring for the thermister i actually removed the whole assembly. Not realising it was in a wet pocket Hot water under 1.5 bar of pressure shot out and soaked me, the tools, worktops - everything !!!

No need to apologise Warren, it wasn't really a flood, better doing it in the workshop rather than Mrs Miggins kitchen 😉
