I remember learning about the dances in college that went along with the music and just thought 🤔 this is how they got down back then? Why aren't we still doing this????
I was luckier when I was at university- I got to dance them! 😉 Not this, though. I seem to remember the Canaries as a circle dance. I certainly couldn’t have done this version!
Antiwhiteism. People no longer desire to learn the dances of our people b/c they are infected with the antiwhite belief that 'white men can't dance' and that 'white people's dances are not cool.'
Because Satan rules now. Have faith. "His kingdom come, His will be done on Earth as it is in heaven." - All that is beautiful will bloom and dazzle again.

@@victoriajarvis2260 So basically because nutcases like you took Master Shake's famous "Dancing is forbidden" quote too literally before Aqua Teen Hunger Force and just TV as a whole were a thing.
This has me choked up for god sakes what in the world?! So beautiful and free and fun and so much exuberance!! In seconds I went from a dreary 48yo, working from the confines of my crowded little paste-toned home, seeing no one but myself who is tired and my husband who is stressed and once in a while some far away faces looking gaunt on a WebEx or anonymous behind a grocery delivery bag … … to a flushed, lovely 17yo girl with flowers tucked above my ears and hair in impertinent tangles playing chase through the tall grass with my husband and once found, and deliciously breathless, we laugh and love even more until purple dusk comes bringing lightning bugs, and unicorns and god knows what else 🦌🧚🏽♀️🦋🌙🔥🌊🪐 Absolutely *WONDERFUL* how this made me feel !!! Where can I find hours and hours of this?
These people dance very well, and can tell they're enjoying themselves. I've seen some reiacters seem lack luster, but this performance moved me, and I'm not someone who watches dancing, and not someone that expects to be moved by it( being moved by music is usual) . It was beautiful.
Interesting to see this kind of dance performed by Russian musicians and dancers. While the dancers are clearly not spanish in their execution of the movements, they are charming and it is lovely to see. The musicians are excellent.
Perhaps because these dances, like the baroque music animating them, are essentially archaic forms, that is, not part of a live culture, other than in folkloric performance. Flamenco, on the other hand, is vividly alive and is practiced and, not merely performed, amongst the predominantly andalusian and gypsy communities that first developed it. While something like a canaries or zarabanda us a single form, flamenco I corporates some 60 different forms, including the folkloric, such as the fandango and New World forms, such as the guajira and arabic forms like the zambra. Flamenco is ever-evolving because it is a live culture with rich roots and not a museum piece. And I say this with great love for baroque music.
La danse , la musique : langage universel. Que ces jeunes gens sont beaux ! .
Very vivacious and contaminatingly joyful, delightful and elegantly danced to a most uplifting melody, I'm amazed at the skill (and fitness) of the young dancers. In my opinion early dance at it's very best.
Excellent! A fine performance! I had a smile on my face throughout their dance. It was nice to see the musicians in period costume as well...it really added to the feeling of authenticity.
So glad to see this! Stunning and delight performance, the only sad thing is that I wasn't there... Or maybe it's good, because I totally would like to join and dance together ^^
wonderful. I learned this piece on guitr years ago and always felt that it was meant to be danced. But all the recordings I could find lacked that"pulse" that one finds in spanish music. All correct but no swing. Due tp an injury had to give up playing guitar but too up violin/fiddle. Been working this out on my violin and accenting that 'flamenco' feel in the sift fro 6/8 to3/4 in the score. A sparkling tune, sinuous and strong. Kudos to the dancers od of course the musicians
Thank you, Spasibo! Very interesting. Just some advice: do not close up on the dancers faces, because then we cannot see details of the dance. Thanks again.
But I think it's nice to see how happy they look from time to time... this is not just gymnastics, it is also the joy of life. It is good to see how people were able to be happy in times that we think of as much darker than today.
