No one... flies like Gaston, screams on highs like Gaston In this whole movie nobody dies like Gaston No more putting up with all his great degrading, My what a guy... GASTON!
One of Qualen’s men in the movie “Cliffhanger”, Heldon (played by Denis Forest), had a similar scream (like Gaston) when he fell off the ledge of a cliff from an avalanche.
@@ButFirstHeLitItOnFire Say it again Who's now deader than dead And then say it once more Whose is the tomb next door Whose name on a gravestone Don't you know? Can't you guess? Fun Fact: Gaston was originally going to survive his fall off the castle after his battle with Beast with only a broken leg and then the wolves from earlier in the film would’ve viciously surrounded him and leaped upon him to devour him alive, but this was cut from the movie because the creators felt it would’ve been too gruesome for children. However, this idea was later used for another movie, specifically the Lion King where Scar survived his fall off the top of Pride Rock after his battle with Simba and then had the hyenas viciously surround him and leap upon him to devour him alive.
Honestly, neither of these endings seem fitting to me nowadays. I think it would have been more suitable if , after the spell was broken, Gaston would have inherited the curse and turned into an even more hideous Beast; becoming a monster in the inside AND the outside. By the way, I think the scene shows Gaston falling into the river, so there WAS a chance he survived.
The alternate ending wouldn't have been realistic. No one would have survived that fall, unless maybe if Gaston was totally inebriated. But this was not evident in any of these castle fight scenes.
@@andrewbruskin6923 I guess it all depends of how much water there was in the river. (There was a river at the bottom). Either way, they always say that "there are fates worse than death", and spend the rest of his life in the form of a hideous monster would have suited Gaston perfectly.
@@Amdrag25That drop is at least 300 feet and at that point it doesn’t matter how much water there is, if you’re falling from that high at such a high speed you’ll hit the water as if it cement
@@tyris4559 I know, but this is a fantasy world, so miracles or anomalies can still happen. Besides, this would be like Marvel's Gorilla Man. The curse is that, if you kiil the Gorilla Man, you became the Gorilla Man. To it would still be a fitting punishment for Gaston to live the rest of his life as the monster he truly is.
I knew he was going to die because if you look closely at his pupils, there’s a skull in them indicating that he wouldn’t have survived the fall off of the balcony.
Interesting thing is that Disney swaped Scar and Gaston’ death. At first Scar was supposed to fall to his death and Gaston to be devoured by the wolves.
Not fallikg to his death (Scar does fall to his death somewhat), but Scar was gonna be consumed by the fire as he cackedly celebrated that he had killed Simba by throwing him off the Pride Rock, though Simba had survived in reality.
Hypothetically Gaston died a hero. Belle went missing for days by a beast. How is he suppose to know the backstory of the beast? As far as he knew a big ass monster had Belle hostage. RIP Gaston
@@darladimple8437 He was just shown drinking beer while making a deal with an evil man to throw Maurice into the asylum in order to force Belle to marry him.
Scar TECHNICALLY survived being eaten by hyenas. If not, he wouldn't appear in House of Mouse. Maleficent TECHNICALLY wasn't stabbed in the heart as a dragon and was left as only a cloak. If not, she wouldn't appear in House of Mouse. Mufasa TECHNICALLY survived his fall and being crushed by a stampede. If not, he wouldn't appear in House of Mouse. Jafar TECHNICALLY survived when he exploded due to his lamp being kicked in lava. If not, he wouldn't appear in House of Mouse. Ursula TECHNICALLY survived being impaled. If not, she wouldn't appear in House of Mouse.
@@allysanchez5630 Yeah and it would've been cool if they used his original death where he's devoured by the wolves too since that was his original death that was scrapped it would've been very satisfying since he almost did the same to Belle's dad.
It would've been very satisfying if the remake had used his original death scene where he's devoured by Scarred Wolf and his Wolf pack since that would've been just as satisfying considering he almost did the same with Belle's dad.
Honestly, this ending is not satisfying to me nowadays. I think it would have been more suitable if , after the spell was broken, Gaston would have inherited the curse and turned into an even more hideous Beast; becoming a monster in the inside AND the outside.
The second most dumbest way for a Disney villain to die. Number one is Frollo for trying to behead Esmeralda while standing on a crumbling gargoyle, only to fall and fry to a crisp in molten copper.
