Here's a raw review of Gate 1 Travel's 'Crown Of Spain' 11 day hosted tour. The tour includes air, plus:
9 nights First Class accommodations

The hotels were all very nice and mostly in close proximaty to places of interest/city centers. Cordoba was probably the only hotel that was out of the city center a bit. The only drawbacks from the tour were the pace of travel (wake up calls between 6:30 and 7:30 each morning, only 1 day in Vallencia) and some (not all) of the included dinners. We had Paella in two places, and both were lack-luster at best. We found much better dining away from tour, by-and-large, massive breakfast buffets not withstanding.
Our tour guide Pablo informed us that he only hosts 1 tour a year. By all accounts (and from asking others on the tour who had history of traveling with Gate 1), Pablo was one of the best tour guides many had ever had. We found him to be patient, funny, wickedly smart and genuine.
Overall, this tour is an A+ in our book and we will likely travel with Gate 1 again in the future!
