Preparing Krieg Siege army for deployment on Vraks Prime it's 34 regiments of siege warfare experts. Units of Death Korps of Krieg. Well in modern age 34 regiments would be around 110 thousand men but I think in 40k regiments have a strength of whole modern division which is 10 - 20 thousand soldiers. So 34 regiments would be 340 thousands to 680 thousands or even more.
Krieg can produce 10,000 troops a month maybe more and they give as tithe to the empire 334 regiments so each would have to consist of no less than 1,000 troops each
Depends on the plant and at warfare they are fighting Armageddon has very normal sized regiments 2,000 for their warfare while Kreig could have 60 thousand and more due to trench warfare
probably not even that. the Vraks campaign only deployed something in the ballpark of tens of millions of troops. As much as the overall campaign was a fustercluck that drew in multiple space marine chapters, the imperium didn't reinforce vraks THAT much in terms of overall numbers. This conflict, for all that it will take decades and millions of lives on either side, is only notable for a few things: The fact that it was a notable krieg campaign, the fact that chaos got so heavily involved that had the campaign failed Vraks would have been subjected to exterminatus to prevent a beachhead situation, and the fact that it was both so hideously mismanaged by the imperials and instigated by a failed assassination attempt on the order of the ordo hereticus that the imperium pretty much made their own nightmare here.
Not just, but RAISED. Vraks is the homeworld of the Death Korps of Krieg. Edit: Nope, sorry, my mistake. NOT their homeworld. It's 2:00 in the morning for me here. @user-iw7gq8wc5t
