Ghnta. Indian exams are designed only for rote learning. GATE is in fact one of the easiest competitive exams. The actual scholars of a branch usually don't even apply for GATE, unko Btech ke baad hi job mil jaati h ya MS ke liye apply krte hain. GATE me to mostly whi baithte jinki placement nhi lg ti, so competition low level ka hota h. Also, ig this YTuber never applied for Ivy Leagues, NUS, NTU, ETH, TUM, etc. Bhai bahaar top colleges me admission lena itna bhi sasta ya asaan kaam nhi h 😂GATE ka koi comarison nhi for someone who is making into say ETH. Future me bhi ETH waala zyada kmaega aur during masters bhi ETH waala zyada seekhega.

​​@@venkatprasanna3959gate is easy,advance is tougher,the numericals in gate needs 4th class mathematics but for advanced exam we need advanced mathematics with more logical skills ,still gate is a piece of cake I tried very much for advance exam couldn't even clear it now I am getting 50 marks in gate mocks even with 5months of preparation just think what if advance toppers gives gate exam definitely they are way better,Gate is a kid just a piece of cake as compared to JEE,even compared with JEE mains it's far more easier😅

Your competitive exam performance and experience is barely mediocre. If you were a top 10 in India’s national level competitive exams, cracked BARC, ISRO, IIT Bombay etc., you’d know how easy MS is. But yeah, if you have appeared in gate once and barely got NIT top branches for mtech, you’d feel MS as difficult. I don’t speak without experience. I’ve seen this happen over and over again.

Have you done an MS or were you a Bachelor's student at IIT? I'm guessing not. Just to clarify, it wasn't NITs; it was IIT Roorkee and IIT Kanpur. While these might not be the top IITs in your opinion, I was satisfied with my admission, especially since it was my only attempt and I had no reservations. The number of students appearing for GATE in my branch has significantly dropped since I took the exam, so comparing these situations is like comparing apples to oranges.In my view, the true IIT students are those who cracked the IIT-JEE. I know for a fact that most engineering graduates don’t even consider enrolling in M.Tech programs at IITs. It’s usually the top students from other universities who are eager to get into IITs. I’ve worked with IIT students and know firsthand the challenges they face due to "mediocre ranks." Many of them take admission primarily to secure the jobs you're mentioning or to pursue ES or other state exams. I can confidently say this, having guided seven Master's dissertations from IITs across two Indo-German projects. Being in constant touch with supervisors and students there, I’ve seen what they go through because of this one exam.That being said, this doesn't discredit what you've achieved with competitive exams, but I still see your perspective as a generalization influenced by bias towards one exam. Also, excelling in tests doesn’t necessarily mean you can impart the same understanding or demeanor to others.

Go for MS if you don't have money problems you will get better job opportunities, and even you can pick a part-time job while doing colleges to reduce expense burden on parents

Just do your MS from Germany then. No Tuition fees, 10k euro as security deposit. And it's not like you'll not be working part time unless you are rich; to decrease the burden on your parents.

I'm not sure about what use is MS over a MTECH for a BTech graduate, i am in the fresher year of BTech , and I want to pursue Masters in Germany, public college at no tution fees, 10 lakh would be all they'll require to let me in Germany and that too would be for my own use,i can chose to save money 💰 if i try to ,work internships there and earn money worth it. I think choosing all this over gate in India is a much better option. It's just I'm not yet sure where I would get 10lakh for it,plus it would be 3 years to wait.

You are blind to reality. Just replace Smart with "Rich" The reason why most people go for GATE is because most people cannot even afford a flight ticket to 1st world country.

Some people don't want to leave our country even though they get 10 times the money they get in India....So they are not fools....So it's just a personal choice..

@@ashishtorq bank se paisa lene ke liye collateral rakhna padta hai . Middle class admi ka khudka ghar kiraye ka hota hai , woh collateral kahase layega. I know its pretty easy to get into MIT than IIT but problem comes here of money and thats why many middle class students loose hope .

Even if he would have sugar-coated his words, still the truth remains the same. Getting into IIT is way harder than getting into any college in Europe.

I don’t think one should speak ill of any degree. Also, shouldn’t speak until and unless he/she has both the degrees. What MS brings is not limited to just academics! There’s a stark difference between the communication skills of a MS and a Mtech student. I’m not here to argue, but to make a point that each has there own ups and downs!
