ELVIS lived about 4 lifetimes in his 42 years. He did it all, and had it all. He was filmed, photographed, & remembered for every day/minute of his life it seems. This is a great Gates! I love Elvis so much. I fell in love in 1956, I listen to him every day. This week I have been listening to Are You Sincere and Green Green Grass Of Home! By the way Drew Bree's in the best quarter back in my opinion! I won't hold that against Jerry! He seems like a very nice man!
I am a big Elvis Presley fan, and I remember going to Graceland back in 1995 and I could feel his spirit. I would love to go back to Graceland again someday soon.
For some reason, I've never particularly been a big fan of Jerry before - thanks to this video, I've changed my mind. He seems a decent man. Very interesting as usual.
Thank you for sharing facts about Elvis I didn't know about. He was so amazing!!! You find out more and more every day about Elvis and his life. I am a Elvis fan for life. Long live Elvis. I remember hearing that Elvis's Mom didn't like him to play football. She was afraid he was going to get hurt. I can just see Elvis playing football and calling the shots.
I love this exhibit and great having Jerry there reminiscing about time spent with Elvis playing football. You can see Elvis really loved his football 😍
My gosh, I don't think there was anything Elvis couldn't do! I really love Jerry! He was really close to Elvis and has some amazing stories! He and cousin Billy Smith are the only ones that tell truth and don't lie about Elvis. He's the one that Elvis trusted when Evis slipped off to Washington to see Nixon! They later called Sonny West, which I think was more for security reasons. Elvis knew Jerry was orphaed at an early age and basically adopted him. Jerry still lives in the house that Elvis bought him. Elvis told him when he gave it to him, that he knew he never had a home and now he did. Jerry was so touched by it and he still has emotion when he tells it.

I honestly can see Elvis rubbing elbows with Joe Willie Nammath and I could honestly say The king would've matched Broadway Joe drink for drink and woman for woman.... So glad Elvis wasn't a Dallas Cowboy fan..... would've broken my heart..... Rest in peace sir you were the world's greatest M.V.P.

This is so AWESOME!! Would have loved to see Elvis with Broadway Joe, that must have been something. So nice to see Angie give Jerry & Tom the tour. Alan Fortas who played at Vanderbilt and "Bardahl" were frequent football players with Elvis too. I think Shirley Conell saved a paper cup that Elvis threw at her during one of his games in Memphis. She tells of the day Elvis broke his finger playing. Love this channel TCB.

@@SpaGuy Hi Spa Guy, I just went in and listened to this lovely video of the Gates of Graceland, by Tom Brown, and Angie Marchese and of course Elvis' friend Mr. Jerry Schilling whom sounds a lovely man and very quietly spoken I must say. At the end of it I had to rewind it a few times to hear exactly what Jerry was saying about Elvis and quote "I really want Elvis to see this episode and to see this exhibit, he would love it: I maybe hearing things but I don't think I am. I am one of many people who do believe Elvis is alive and well. Hope you are well, too with this awful virus in the world of ours, and hopefully we all can recover from it, in due time. @@sue7011I've heard and read many many different times Elvis was very conscious of his neck, plus I can't remember a comic book hero that wore a high collar so I tend to think it was both that as well as the the style aspect. As far as the capes, yes, he loved comic book heroes. Evel Kneivel got his inspiration for wearing a cape from Elvis.
