I put over ripe bananas in freezer bags and use them for banana bread. Works great.

hello it's Mary. I recall in NC you guys went to the park and you did your walking for your exercise. Now you have your own nice pool so it's easy to get your exercise swimming. Like everyone else can't wait to see your house when you get movie room set up and decor on walls. I know it's all a process.

My family makes potato salad just like you do.

the florida aquarium in tampa and of course the theme parks but they are very expencive but the aquairum is lovely

Love that you give your family fun snacks, but also a lot of healthy options. Another light summer meal idea is chicken ceasar salad wraps - using flour tortillas (or whatever you prefer :-) Easy and it will keep your house nice and cool. 🌞

Hello Amy. I have been looking into your lovely new cook book. However, here in the Uk it is nearly £30 to purchase through Amazon. Then I looked at your download option for $20. Can I still purchase this even though I am in UK. I guess your work surfaces in your kitchen are marble now, must be so much easier.

My mom loved all of the fresh fruits and veggies when they lived in FL. The avocados were HUGE! One of the few things she didn't like was the seasons don't really change. We were there in March one year and it was 80 degrees. We were wearing shorts. Lol

Hey Amy, I live in Alabama and worked at Publix for several years in the past, remember if you can no find unsliced Italian bread, you may need to call and let them know how much you need, but most of the time you will find it, you may need to go early to make sure you get what you need. and taste wise you can not beat it, fresh and homemade in store.

I used to watch a Scandinavian lady she made her potato salad whipped like that she made three different flavors one with just mayonnaise one with mustard and mayo one with mayo and beet juice they looked wonderful and tastes wonderful

Everything looks fabulous! Sadly, I absolutely hate beans of any kind (except green) but I might make the cowboy caviar for the rest of the family. I wish I did like beans, I know they are so healthy 😞

Put a damp paper towel under your cutting board so it doesn’t slide around while you chop

Hey Amy! My mom's side of the family makes their potato salad by mashing their potatoes too. My mom makes hers using red potatoes sometimes as well, which is my favorite. 😊

I'm so happy your family is enjoying their new home in Florida. When I was younger we moved to a little town outside of Tampa. It was Gibsonton . It was known as carny town because the carnival people lived there during the winter. One of my favorite places was Simmons Park it's a beach and picnic area with a marina . We also went to Manatee Beach (it's between Gibsonton and Sarasota) and we went to Long Boat Key beach. There is also a zoo close to Tampa Lowery Park Tampa zoo. I just watched another RU-vidr compare Costco and Sam’s. I have memberships to both. It was interesting to see what was cheaper at Sams and what Costco has cheaper. I like Costco for there customer service, it is amazing! But Sams scan and go app makes shopping so much easier!
