This is the orchestration of the original university hymn Gaudeamus Igitur. It was performed the 8th of April of 2018 at the Auditorio Manuel de Falla of Granada by the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada conducted by its orchestrator, Xavier Pagès-Corella. In this orchestation, chorus, trombones and percussion are optional (instrumentation: chorus-2222-2231-tmp-2perc-str; minimum orchestra 2222-2200-str). The orchestration has an optional chorus. This performance is without the chorus. Sorry.

This is a fragment of a pedagogical concert that tells the real story of Juan Latino, an African slave of the Renaissance that became professor of Latin in the University of Granada (Spain). This is the moment in which his graduation is described. Of course, out of context, it may seem a little bit awkward, but I can assure that this was one of the most moving moments of the concert. I'm sorry I am with Philipp, you made us think the girl was going to sing. The performance is really good. Very talented musicians, But the girl standing there it's an error. Cheers
