Coco is even too much, all it takes to beat Iga, actually, is a weak opponent on their good day. I know you gain your strength and confidence from the facts stated by the H2H stats between them. Be reminded that Iga is not a robot. She's human like every other tennis player. Therefore, It can never be 100% certain that she'll win. For Coco and every other opponent, there would always be a chance against her. The better the player, the better the chance to beat her, I believe.

Sometimes people start conversations to ensure they will be IN them. Coco's play is speaking for itself, as are her points. She keeps showing up in semis at 20...a habit. By 22-23, she could be in the habit of showing up at finals. If that's her arc, no amount of trash talk will derail it.

@@williamsannuto8239 Not really. Seles was not as mobile as you think. I saw her in person at Roland Garros. She moved pretty well but not on the backhand but she was vulnerable against a player who could shift her around. I think Gauff's speed is hard to estimate unless you see her in person. What Seles had above all except a few all-time greats was her tenacity. She hated, with a capital H, to lose. Sabalenka is like that. Gauff's temperament is more like Steffie Graf's or Bjorn Borg's, outwardly neutral but laser-focus in intensity. But remember that Gauff is up to the taks of teh Big Moment, having already defeated Sabalenka to claim her maiden Grand Slam last year at the US Open.
