Very nice. the sound is very rich from these machines. I have to say that the Gavioli definitely has quite a bit more character than the Whurlitzer , and whurlitzer is a high quality machine too but the sound is so much better coming from your machines.
yes it did in those days, they were removed as they were close to the keyframe and drove everyone mad. Shame really, they add something (apart from madness)
@@TomGavioli Is it possible to remove them for traveling and re-attach them when playing? Or does the organ have to be taken apart completely to attach/remove them?
@@mvl8209 I don't know what they did in every case, but I heard that in at least some instances, the tubes were left hanging from their cords when the organ truck went from place to place, and some of the cords broke and the tubes came clanging down. I would hope that then they took to unhanging the tubes and packing them into a traveling case before moving the organ.
