it's a Chiappa book so maybe James Tiller was the arranger ? It is brilliant, particularly on this organ.

Very nice. the sound is very rich from these machines. I have to say that the Gavioli definitely has quite a bit more character than the Whurlitzer , and whurlitzer is a high quality machine too but the sound is so much better coming from your machines.

I have looked but can find no reference to the arranger, a shame, it is an excellent work.

Can you confirm the organ has tubular bells?
@vickypos6

yes it did in those days, they were removed as they were close to the keyframe and drove everyone mad. Shame really, they add something (apart from madness)

It did have when this was recorded, now they have been taken off as they had problems when travelling around the country, Tom.

@@TomGavioli Is it possible to remove them for traveling and re-attach them when playing? Or does the organ have to be taken apart completely to attach/remove them?

@@mvl8209 I don't know what they did in every case, but I heard that in at least some instances, the tubes were left hanging from their cords when the organ truck went from place to place, and some of the cords broke and the tubes came clanging down. I would hope that then they took to unhanging the tubes and packing them into a traveling case before moving the organ.
