I love that she even sings along for parts of it. I don't know how hard that is but I know I wouldn't be able to play and sing along. I also don't think we've gotten a Yoru ni Kakeru cover from Gura so this is as close as we get.
From what I've heard, rhythm games are actually harder for musicians BECAUSE of keeping time. When you're making music, from what I've been told, an actual human is in charge of the time (either you or the drummer). If the rules need to be bent, you can just go ahead and do that. In a rhythm game, you're at the cold calculating mercy of the machine. Rules are absolute, and music is only there for humans to perceive; the game only cares about 1's and 0's.
It's funny how perception from different people differ, because I play rhythm games, I haven't played this one so I can't confirm it, but this looks really easy to me
@@winterkai3333 Really interesting how different people are good at different games and someone can be good at shooters and bad at rhythm games, for example (and the reverse).
It isn't an issue of stream quality. Gura's internet isn't the greatest and she already streams at a low bitrate. Even still, her stream tends to lag at times. Not much you can really do about it.

I mean, I never played this game so I don't have any idea what the different colored ones mean, but this one doesn't look that bad to hit everything. Her Project Diva stream on the other hand.... that was something else. edit: I just realized it shows at the beginning what each thing is. Yeah this isn't really that difficult to do imo. She can do way harder stuff.
I'm kinda annoyed that Gura and Amelia removed their rhythm game vidoes. I understand it was probably for copyright purposes but it's still kind of annoying.
Some Vtubers had that same issue but for ASMR videos, and on a range of more than 3 videos, it does become a menace for the entire channel. And even when these start to gradually come back as a thing on their channel, republicizing them again is still a risk, as sad as it may sound...
This stream, for Groove Coaster, was a sponsored stream. There was a copyright complication with the music that the company requested her to play that they are currently working on sorting out. After they figure it out, it will be back up. Taito tweeted about it and apologized.
I'm pretty good at rhythm games if I say so myself. Perhaps not quite as good as Gura, but it's kinda hard to compare seeing as I play some other rhythm games. Though I've been called a god at D4DJ by a friend just because I can full combo songs on hard with mv and 0% opacity XD I'd say I'm an intermediate/advanced player overall. I can play and full combo songs on Hard without much issue in D4DJ and BanG Dream, 10 - 12s in Sound Voltex (not all on these levels, but a solid amount), 6s in Jubeat (can clear 7s) and 6s and 7s in MaiMai. Groove Coaster is a bit harder for me, but it's still great fun, especially at the arcade
