The general plot line though missing a few steps is this for gura character development Up to now from the beginning Hype to be vtuber Start being vtuber Lil "A" on Twitter spirals out of control Causing her to be the one with the most expectations set Debuts shyly worried not to meet expectations (like all hololivers she's no different) but sets stardards for her style Plays man eater Feels bad because she wanted to show off her shark skills but she was really bad it is Foreshadows that she is a "rhythm gamer" in a fit of rage causing her to lose a bit of confidence (also cements the way her fanbase views her or very very smol and cute must protecc baby) Plays musedash ...destroys any and all lowered expectations we placed on her Calibur of play by absolutely destroying the game and showing she is indeed an APEX PREDATOR Regains massive amounts of confidence And becomes the darling Apex predator baby we all know and love Lefts some out like that she played alot of horror games early on plus that she was terrifying in among us if she was imposter other wise she died quick as well as her uncanny ability to forshadow absolute everything without meaning to
she has said that she feels more comfortable and confident on stream, but as a newer fan who wasn't around for the beginning of en, I can feel the difference
@@ACEZ_123 Have u played this level of rhythm game tho? It takes a level of skill, it's not just spamming buttons, she also is getting consistent perfects, so like she obviously is timing it right
as someone who avidly plays rhythm games and really likes vtubers n shit, the fact that gura plays muse dash and possibly more rhythm games makes me happy
I love rythim games, and I can say for sure that whenever you play a round in a difficulty lower than waht you're used to, you're bound to make some mistakes. The different rythim of things coming your way, and how it alligns differently with the music, idk it always messes me up, I can already have perfected a song in master difficulty, but If I play it on hard right afterwards, I'll for sure miss like 5 notes.
Brain Power is weirdly one of the easiest Master songs in the game. Sounds crazy, but it’s just because the “beat” perfectly mirrors what you are hearing. It’s one of those many songs that’s actually easier than playing on a lower difficulty for that reason. The lower difficulty is missing notes that can throw off your visual rhythm. Or maybe it’s my being a drummer, and it’s how my brain is programmed 😅😊 Still though, nailing it requires skill!
I kinda get what you mean. The sound of his voice literally goes with the beat, so there's no way you'd be led astray. On a similar note: I'd probably lose my shit if the game throws in paradiddles, however. Ha ha ha!
Not knocking her, rhythm games are really fun to play (you should give them a try!)... but this is very low skill for any typical rhythm game. She's probably fairly decent at games like IIDX and Osu, which is why this looks somewhat clean despite all the ridiculous flare. Games like this are played more on reflex and muscle memory. Your eyes also adjust to the speed over time and you learn how to "read" the game chart. For an example of how disgustingly insane top tier rhythm gameplay looks... here's "A Fool Moon Night" played by jhlee ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C4n5EicKqvg.html ). For the uninitiated, I'll say this... he isn't spamming. If you could download the video at 60+fps, and watch it frame by frame, each key strike is properly sequential and in the correct pattern. Even with RU-vid's poor compression and framerate loss, you can still see the distinct pattern flashing in his Keyboard layout, though it is hard to see at 70 key-presses/second. Of course, he definitely still makes mistakes, it just happens so fast its impossible to notice and the difference only ends up being a "Good" vs a "Perfect". And... don't feel bad if this burns your eyes. Even professional Osu players like Cookiezi (was regarded for a long time as the King of Osu... probably still is) have tweeted out things like "Jhlee is God" and "Jhlee isn't human". etc. etc.
rythm games tend to look impossible for people who don't play them, but trust me, it's not that hard, like everyone says in some rythm game just play more
@@jonathansanders5540 I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you either A) didn't read my full comment or, B) missed the point. MuseDash is not a hard game, by any means, even at its highest settings. For people who don't play rhythm games, yes its difficult. But with respect to much, much more difficult rhythm games and tracks, this is child's play. I also mentioned that because she's plays this rather cleanly, she's probably decent at other games such as Osu or IIDX. While I couldn't possibly judge her skill level without seeing it, going by the fact she isn't completely 100% FC crushing everything she touches in MuseDash, it's probably fair to assume she is or would be at/below the 50th percentile in the two games I mentioned (which isn't bad, all things considered... It isn't like there are 100,000s/millions of people who play those games at an above average level). She may be in the top 10% of MuseDash players... I wouldn't really know. It's only a 2 year old game, and its very niche... so I could see that being quite reasonable.
This was actually really amazing back then. Too bad she can't play it on stream nowadays, coz the publisher gave in to the nationalist haters and forbid HL from streaming. And it's stupid, every bet, they had never a better ad for their game than Gura rocking it.
@@beardalaxy Yes I know, and currently Kiara is back to Austria. The other three should be near the same time zone. Ina in Canada and Ame and Gura somewhere in US Midwest.
4:55 is probably a better demonstration of that, but ok. (also, as a trans woman, that "girls are bad at games" thing annoys me to hell and back, because it is just false. there are *plenty* of high-skill female RG players.)
cytus2 brain power chart is fine until the hell part, and then it sucks. had MM pace until that (on my first try btw) but thanks rayark for deciding to make the scanline go *8x it's normal speed.* charts like that are why i quit cytus as a series, honestly.
I'm not a huge fan of V-tubers, however, there's something about Gura that makes really like her, maybe the fact i sound her voice sounds really cute? i dunno, i just love her lol
Fun fact: (Only on Nintendo switch) To spam the buttons like when the units are close to eachother To spam the down button you have to keep rotating the rotate controller and you know what the jump is
