First you should know that they don’t need to know and that is your choice whether you want to tell them. You’re not obligated to tell them anything. I advice you to check if your family have controversial opinions about LGBTQ+ people. Hopefully not but they might. If they dislike the community to the point where they wouldn’t except you and maybe become a danger, if you where to come out. I’d sadly advice you to not come out…. But if you’re a grown adult with a stable life and economy to support yourself if your family cut ties with you can then decide if you want to tell your family. Or if you have a someone who agrees to financially support you and take you “under their wing”. Hope this helps!
