What a beautiful story. I can't imagine how difficult it was to come out to you dad, but I am so glad that he loves you. All parents should want their children to be happy. It shouldn't matter who they love, but that they are loved and happy. Because love is love. And that's all that matters.

I hope this young man knows how wonderful it is to have his fathers acceptance. My internet friend's father and mother had him appear before a judge for a competency hearing. His father still believe that homosexuality was a mental disorder because up until 1973 it was listed as such in the US. When the judge said he was competent, his father cut all ties and died a few years later never mending their relationship. The same with his Partner's mother. She never accepted them. My friend's mother later accepted them and the couple did get married with his mother in attendance. 🥰

This was beautiful and heartfelt. I am 63 years old. My father died last year having had Alzheimer's for 11 years. I didn't really have a close relationship with him so I never got to have this kind of conversation with him. By the time I was ready it was too late. I read poems to him in the last weeks and he always said thank you. Being at his bedside when he died helped a lot. But watching this made me realise how much I missed not having one heartfelt conversation. Anyway, thank you for sharing this.

This is what I'm always saying..that no matter how harsh the K country to LGBTQ community is that Kim and Pack can endure it all. This made me cry so emotional. I didn’t come out till I was 27 and leaving my wife. It was a very hard time but I am lucky my family supported me. This was not easy 29 years ago. Being gay was dangerous and not something you told people like it is today. I tell friends dealing with coming out to parents the same thing you realized. It took me 27 years to understand I was gay and come out. I can’t expect my family to accept in 27 seconds. Also we know so many gay families that have used surrogates to have children now. I just had good friends from China have twins thru surrogate here. I love their babies os much and so happy for them. Also I don’t know why but RU-vid unsubscribed me to so many channels I use to follow. I wasn’t on RU-vid for several months so I didn’t realize it. I hope you have lost members because they have done this to others.

At the end when you were telling him how much you loved him, you could feel the strength, love, and acceptance that was coming from the power of this parent, it’s incredible. Heartbreak that led to healing. What a beautiful thing to see you guys as you are now. No one wants their parents to hate them. It’s not the kids fault. They wouldn’t ask for that. Just because a child is gay doesn’t mean they are a horrible person. The power of love and acceptance can go a long way when receiving it from your parents. No one loves you like your parents do. Society can hate you but if you have your parents love and acceptance, the power that can provide you in those tough times is incredible and goes a long way. Thank you to your father, for what kind and encouraging words he shared with you, his unending love for you is obvious and so is his love for Kim. I cried so much hearing your father’s love for you and Kim. The fact you took the opportunity to speak about your sexuality with him is so empowering. I had to laugh at how he was going to disown you and he was frankly trying to make sense of it all. Trying to get help with his dilemma and finally excepting the fact your happiness is what matters especially after meeting Kim with his infectious smile. Your father is exceptional, hence why you are so profound in your heart and life towards yourself and Kim. These are precious moments and memories you’ll never forget. My mom wanted to ban me for life,yet my dad was still holding on to the fact of loving me for me. I never had the chance to delve deeper in a conversation with him about my sexuality, but I didn’t need to because he believed in me. As for my mom she passed before we got together and had a conversation about true feelings and how we were not able to have a discussion about sexuality. So I’m happy beyond words on your behalf and the fact you shared your story with us. Love you both so much ❤️🙋‍♂️🏳️‍🌈

Your dad is what all dads need to be! I have so much respect for him. I have 3 adult children now and all 3 are queer. I CANT imagine a world of not just saying its fine. My kids didnt really have to come out to me I figured it out and just told them that no matter who they like I will love them as long as they are being treated good and they are happy. Now one is in a regular relationship and the other 2 are single for now. My son went through a bad break up and has been heart broken for a while but with time I told him it will get better but, he needs to start talking about things. I just wanted to say Im glad to see one dad supporting his son!! It makes my heart melt made me cry and made me smile all of the above. Love you guys. You are so brave to come out to your father and even bring back that topic and talk about it because as a bisexual person i think i would never be able to come out to my father btw i did come out to my mother and she accepted it but she still thinks a girl loving girl and a guy loving guy is abnormal but other can only have an open heart and accept it .....
