Glad you guys had fun (at least Jeff said that he did skiing-Taylor didn’t seem to come out & say that much exactly, I don’t remember although at least he didn’t seem to fall actually skiing, only walking afterwards). Glad you guys got to experience upstate skiing as well. I know that you guys got married up there and enjoyed it. Also Hunter is popular with people from the City & Long Island. There are better places further north than the Catskills.

Seriously guys: When you go skiing the next get skis that are shorter than is determined by your height so you have more control over the skis until you get used to them. If you buy equipment, check out used sporting equipment stores as it will be cheaper, but make certain that it fits. And yes, a group lesson will make you feel more in comfortable. Also, maybe they no longer have tow ropes or poma lifts but the chair lifts are designed for you to sit back and the chair will hit you softly behind the knee; just sit back. YOU WILL NOT FALL OFF. Stay off the slopes/ski runs that are marked with “Black Diamonds” because they are the hardest/most difficult and you could get hurt. Even though Jeff has a theater background, “Break a leg” is not an appropriate comment!! HAVE LOADS AND LOADS OF FUN!!! (And in the words of Prince Harry, “Don’t let your todger get frostbiten.”)

Lucille Ball was skiing in Aspen when she broke he leg and set the filming of MAIM(ED) back by a year. Because she contributed $2 mil to the $14 mil budget, they couldn’t replace her. The leg healed and the only effect it had in the movie was to make her look blurry and lower voice and sound hoarse. Jeff, be careful, be very careful and afraid. 😂👏😆

Watching Jeff use his mobile while driving incurs a nearly $500 on the spot fine and a loss of 4 points here in Victoria, Australia. It's designed to make sure people are concentrating on driving and nothing else. I saw a picture on local news here this morning of a mother, who was a probationary driver and who had lost her liscence, driving her car with her baby in her lap while using her phone and not wearing a set belt. @@kateallwood4862 New York does require seat belts and you can only use your phone hands free. But as the other Australian mentioned you guys had a mother driving with a child on her lap without a seat belt using a phone. Obviously not everyone follows the rules even if there are some in place.

@@chrisk5651 Thanks Chris. Vic law re mobile phones is really strict - you’re not allowed to touch it in the car unless the engine is off and the car’s in park. Can’t even use it in a Macca’s drive through to use Apple Pay etc. I think the seatbelt thing was around the north east coast??? Take care.
