For National Gay Pride Month, USC Shoah Foundation is featuring a weekly testimony clip of eyewitnesses to the Nazi persecution of gay men during the Holocaust. This is the second clip in the series. Dr. Bertram Schaffner, who served as a military psychiatrist during World War II, recounts how he dealt with the military's anti-gay policy while evaluating draftees.
