My 16 year old niece asked why in the US we are always just supporting wars, I asked her what she thought would happen if suddenly we all had housing, healthcare, stability, peace, equity, etc. The amount of political dissidents and revolutionary community that we keep houseless and incarcerated is a crime.

Excellent sit-rep session, guys. It's relevant to note that the U.S. lost its footing in Iraq in the latter years of the Surge to what can essentially be dubbed as roving gangs. The notion that further U.S. encroachment and incursion into this genocidal conflict will turn the tide for Israel is so patently ridiculous that it doesn't even merit a dignified response, especially considering the likes of a fully-fledged Iraqi resistance, Shia'a groups from Afghanistan and Pakistan, Yemeni armed forces; the IRGC and Iran; and the lions from Hezbollah. At its best, it'll be a PR campaign for the coming elections; at its worst it'll be the final strategic loss for a declining empire at the dawn of a multi-polar world.

The casualty numbers are reminiscent of the numbers the news would put out each night on TV (yes, that's as old as I am). By the end of the war, the number of Vietnamese fighters killed was three times that of the population and the US soldiers killed were rarely released. It became a joke among those of us who were against the war and protested. The difference is, we saw the soldiers in body bags coming off of the planes. They don't show that any longer.

What about they only count casualties and injuries if it is an Israeli only. All dual nationalities and those that have joined from the US, Uk, Europe may not actually be counted. Israel is not paying the PA, and I've also seen that they no longer want to deal with the PA. So, what is the reason for the PA's existence now? Do they still have a reason NOT to support their people? Or are they just going to cut and run, if Israel gives them a way out of the West Bank to another country? I'm really confused about that situation right now!
