Although Andrew Neil takes no prisoners, no matter what side they're on, he is unfortunately also a Trump hating, establishment remainer so I hope GB News doesn't turn out to disappoint and be the same globalist climate doom merchants as The BBC and Sky News just with a right leaning perspective.

Do this right, get the right balance, be TRUSTED, and you will have literally millions of viewers migrate from the BBC and other channels to your channel. I would say that satisfaction with the BBC is so low, you should already be looking at expansion and other channels containing entertainment and education for the majority view of this country.
Very excited for GB News! I know a lot of people are excited for the prospect of an 'unbiased' news channel, but with respect I think that's a mistake. When people say they want an unbiased source of information, what they're really asking for is a source of information that they can just blindly consume without doing any pesky 'thinking'. And in doing so they invite others to do their thinking *for* them. The reality is that bias is everywhere and there's really no such thing as unbiased news, so it's up to the consumer to navigate the bias. What I'm hoping for from GB News is not that it will feign impartiality, but that it will properly disclose the biases of all its shows and guests, so that I as a consumer can properly frame the information in the correct context. I don't want to see partisan stories and talking heads presenting highly biased views under the guise of impartiality - we get quite enough of that from the BBC.
@@ianinkster2261 Yeah I think it's doing pretty well. The exit of Brillo and the arrival of Farage really saw off any pretence of neutrality. I see them as a counter-balance to something like Channel 4 news, which is a good thing imo. Yet another ostensibly centrist news outlet wouldn't have expanded the Overton window one bit. The main criticism I have of GB News now is that, while there are left leaning voices for the sake of balance, they're almost always aggressively contested and argued, while right leaning voices are very often able to go on extended monologues entirely unchallenged. How about you, what's your take?
@@Jams848484 I feel similarly, although I think there is still room for a less dissident-looking right wing channel that "takes the win": An authoritative-toned, less openly dissident channel taking the same positioning as GBNews, which hints at what Channel 4 could and should be. Just as though already on top. In other words an actual equal and opposite alternative to C4 News. In current GBNews, we sometimes get exclusive and important news, but it is sandwiched between the wry observations of Mark Stein and Nigel Farage. So the message is "this stuff about grooming gangs is also wry speculation rather than truth".
Look forward to a broad spectrum of opinions. The more the merrier. Let the people decide what to think. I am sure GB News will deliver excellent investigative journalism, which is sadly missing on ITV, BBC, CH4, CH5 & SKY..
I know life's not perfect but I'm tired of seeing the UK, esp. England, run down every time I turn on the news. BBC. C4, Sky, esp. literally have nothing good to say about this fantastic island which has given them everything. No positivity, no hope, endless sniping. Yes, report the bad as well as the good but a fact-based channel that's not filled with screaming pundits and presenters (who won't let guests finish their sentences), is long overdue. I hope you can deliver, and wish GB News well. I'll be watching.
I think this is why Talk Radio has recently kicked into high gear with its more TV type presentation on YT, as they're worried about losing audience to GB. They're right to, I love Mike in the morning, but I will be coming over to GB, to start with at least.
TalkRadio needs to make use of a clip channel. I don’t see why they keep putting up full livestreams on the same channel as they upload their clips; it’s not a good idea.
Shouldn’t bother them talk radio aren’t really mainstream news they work more on social media instead of mainstream i can seem them working side by side as an alternative news outlet
@@abrahamblankfein5042 Well they have Talk Radio Highlights, but nobody bothered watching it and they haven't put anything up there for some months, so they put the clips on their official RU-vid channel now.
I discovered TalkRadio as recently as last year when I got rid of my TV. I will still keep listening to Julia, Mike & Mark D as they have kept me sane throughout this crazy year. GB news will be my choice at all other times 💕
If we're seeing this on YT I guess we must be getting the actual live stream here, makes sense & great for the audience, especially abroad like me ; ad blockers at the ready now 😁👍
@@imprwikiimprwiki6898 Yes I thought they would & that's fine. Although there is an ad blocker effect with the Sky live stream, or there used to be. If you don't block you do see ads of a sort, if you do block you see world weather ;-).
Hopefully not a live stream as that would require UK viewers to buy a TV licence. I believe that even if they delayed the stream slightly or slightly changed the content it would get around this.
Please provide balanced news that reflects the UK people, I will happily donate my licence fee and more for that, the UK needs a voice and the current MSM is failing us badly, this is an opportunity for you, please don't squander it 🙏
Looks ok to me. Everybody is forgetting GB News about being different to all other news Broadcasters so having this style Logo and this style Music certainly is different. Remember this music will not be played 24/7/365 it will only be played at the Start of each Program at the Start and Ending of Adverts and at the End of each Program.
Things I'm hoping for from GB News. 1. Andrew Neil having Owen Jones on everyday and just making a mockery of Owens life choices and all the moronic shyte he says. Thats it, that's the list.

Just don't descend into wokery, the beat set of rules you could put in place for GB news employees is banning the word 'offensive'. That way they might think and argue rather than try and shut down things they don't like with buzzwords like all other news stations.
I have high hopes for this. Hopefully we get some nice stories as opposed to the grief from the other news channels and, heres an unpopular opinion, if the government do something good then that needs to be highlighted.
Hope it's a channel that looks outside of the M25 and recognises the patchwork of rural communities, market towns and city's that make up the UK. Not sure other news broadcasters actually know what a market town is or what part they have to play in the UK.

This launch cannot come quickly enough for me. I’m totally done with the other media offerings, except maybe Breitbart. GB News had better be the perfect antidote to lies, spin, non-coverage, and partisan politics that has been the case for too long. Can’t see it on the App Store yet, mind.
