GB wheelchair fencers preparing for Paris 2024 at University of Bath 

With Paris 2024 on the horizon, we caught up with Tokyo 2020 champion Piers Gilliver and fellow Paralympic medallists Dimitri Coutya and Oliver Lam-Watson in their custom-built National Training Centre at the Team Bath Sports Training Village for an insight into how the UKSI Wheelchair Fencing World-Class Programme is going from strength to strength.
The National Training Centre was opened in December 2022 and is a fundamental part of the sport's growth over the past nine years and into the future.
The wheelchair fencing programme is run by the UK Sports Institute (UKSI), who have been based at the University of Bath since 2002.
