I ve been listening to gbh since 83 , one of the first punk bands that i got into.

Charged G.B.H still killin' it! Liked them best since first records 1985 - tortured many speakers ever since. Neighbors favorite!

*Check out their song is at* 8:00 I hung out with GBH back in the day. I took Colin, the singer of GBH, to a bar up the street from the gig in Tampa and bought him a Guinness. We talked about this song. Even though I was a huge fan of the classic Hollywood movie _An American Werewolf in London_ when I was a kid in the early 1980s I never heard of the word *Lycanthropy.* So I remember reading about it in the dictionary and an old set of encyclopedias my parents had at the time. I've been fascinated by the word ever since then. Check out the song lyrics, they're probably the best lyrics ever written about the werewolf, and the *moment* man turns into a werewolf: "Lycanthropy is in his blood, And spreads to those he slays. Uncontrolled metamorphosis, Undetectable by day. But when the moon is waxing, And all the world's asleep. Through woods and fields, The werewolf he will creep. _Even a man who is pure heart, And says his prayers at night .. Can become a werewolf when the wolfsbane blooms, And the Autumn moon is bright_ He instinctively seeks to kill, The thing he loves the best. He'll bare his teeth, growl and snarl, And wish upon you death. His suffused eyes will glare in hate, Silver-grey hair will shine. He'll grip you in his muscular arms, And on your your flesh will dine. Cures are rare for this schizophrenic, A Marfisa flower is a start. Silver topped cane, a crucifix, A silver bullet through the heart."

There were and are many great English punk bands and these were always on the top of my list!

G.B.H. to me are a band that never lost their touch, on those first three albums in the 90s they were trying a faster style and more metallica, but after that Ha Ha, perfume and piss and momentum sound awesome!

Fukk yeah killer saw them few months ago with The Business and Total Chaos and was and still is the best show I've attended this year so far it was killer that Charged GBH and The Business shows got combined into one makes it for an epic night of pure PUNK!! This band absolutely destroyed the venue it was an experience that shall be tattooed in my memory for eternity!!
