It would be a terribly dull world if we all liked the same things. There are some if his songs that I can't watch, but that's because they make me cry to much. Thank you for your reaction and honesty.
Soooooo, not shooting to the top of your list, eh? 😂 I love Luis Mariutti on this. That face! And Dan's lungs. Wow! However, it is very repetitive near the end, and I totally agree with that. But, I still love Dan's voice, so I love this song. If he sang the phone book, it would be boring, but I'd still listen.😂❤
I'm not sure if you're familiar with Fabio Lione & Rhapsody of Fire (I wasn't until discovering Dan). I didn't find you doing a reaction to a song Dan and his band Fearless did with Fabio of the Rhapsody song "Dawn of Victory". Maybe I just overlooked it. If you indeed haven't heard it, that is absolutely awesome. They sound great together & Dan is a big fan of Lione & Rhapsody. That song was done when Fabio had some time while on tour down there in Brazil. It will make you want to attack the castle walls & slay dragons. Gio, Gabriel, & Davi are excellent musicians. It's one of my favorites.
No hate. Thanks for the honesty. I get it about the repetitiveness. I still list this one as one of my faves. I think it's the pace, the vocals and for this cover: the vibe. There are plenty of metal and rock songs (as well as other genres) out there that are just as repetitive but are still considered great songs. Btw, watching your face throughout most of the video, you were enjoying it and had a smile on your face most of the time (there were parts I had my attention diverted, so can't say for sure about the "entire time" 😜).
I agreee…. I have watched all his videos, and some of them it s doesn’t touch me, but he sang it always great. But this song is also not my kind of dong 😇 Look at his renditions of evenascene or nightwish, they are beautiful. Or Son of Pain… wauww..tears..

I love Dan's singing, but I do understand because this is not a song I care for. Dan sings it great, but I don't like the song. Thanks for all your Dan reactions!! Now don't get mad at me, but your poor squirrel bothers me when it's like he's been blasted! lol! I have to skip past him so I don't see him change. 😆 I would really like to see you react to Bring Me To Life!

Honesty is always appreciated over gushing, fake reactions. I have to say that although I can appreciate Dan's voice, Luis's playing, the screams and growls and that 30 second note., this one is not my favorite by a long shot for the same reasons you stated.
His voice is amazing but I agree, too many "Black Wind and Fire and Steel". Love your honesty. Check out APOLOGY video by DAN VASC. Watch all the way through. 👍 It is refreshing to see a reactor give real, true reaction even though I am a die hard fan of Dan Vasc.
Hey, I'm not that big Manowar fan, and this song is not my favorite either, it's too repetitive for me. But Dan's way to end it, i timed it with a stopwatch to precisely 31,40 seconds, and Luis's fingerstyle is impressive. And i prefer honest reaction rather than the ones who always go 'wow...' and you can tell they're like 'meh...' Please keep on being yourself in your honesty.
I'm a full Manowar fan, and I love all of Dan's covers of their songs, and I can hardly wait for the whole album to come out...soon! On the other hand, the repetition of that one phrase in this one is very distracting and annoying, at least at first. I'm used to it, now, after listening to it a LOT (mostly from reactions, but others of my choice).
Although Dan Vasc is the greatest singer on RU-vid and the world as we know it, this one is not my favorite. The last scream that lasted an eternity is impressive and makes this cover worthy of rewatching. I love Dan and everything he does. Vasc Nation!
I think you might be surprised that there is at least ONE of us who basically feels the same way as you, about this song. Every time I tell someone about it (and I DO hope that they will listen, because of Dan's epic hold on that last scream, plus the whole subject of being put on earth to "teach them all to heel" -- not "heal"...in other words, "...teach them al where to get off!"). However, I also basically think that the number of repetitions of that one phrase just before the epic scream, is WAY more than enough. Does that mean I won't listen to it again? NOPE! I'm used to it, now, because I've watched it at least 25-30 times, and it no longer bothers me to wait through the repeats, for that nearly-31-second screamed ending. It grows on you. Thank you for your continued support and honest opinion on this cover by Dan. Of course, you can't assume that you will like all the songs. You have your favorites and with over 200 covers, the selection is large and there is something for every taste. The scream at about 30 seconds is great...respect.

I agree with about the album and in the days of cds sometimes you had the buy the whole album just one particular song because the artist didn't put out a single and you had no choice. This not favorite but it on my playlist, actually all his songs are on my list. lol. Hope you have Bring Me To Life on your list to cover. Looking forward to maybe Dr. Stein, Last Stand, Son Of Pain or Gethsemane. Hope you are feeling better.
I'd probably skip parts of it and focus on that ending, too. Like Dan said, it was a challenge to Mariutti to play it w/o a pick... that fact and the eternal scream at the end make it so interesting even if it's not my favorite song by Dan. Thanks for the honest reaction.
It is not my absolute favourite but Luis is wonderful on guitar and Dan sings it fantastic and the scream is EPIC. I find the lyrics too repetitive for me🥰🇨🇦
Thanks for your honest opinion. Manowar is definitely an 80’s band- They’re into mythical and fantasy lyrics. They’re very famous in Europe- Like Angra, and shaman- also very well known in Europe. They’re more symphonic or power metal not like our heavy metal here in the states- I love Dans voice in this and Luis’s bass playing - both awesome. Last note from Dan is just over 30 seconds.
This one is not my favourite either... I wouldn't skip to the other song though. I'd skip to the final scream 🙂. This song is a nice display of Dan's incredible breath control. Other than that, it's not one that I'd come back to.
I do have to agree that this is one of my less favorite songs as it is quite repetitive. However, the amazing guitar work and the vocal gymnastics that Dan displays makes it worthwhile to listen to at least once. I also enjoy the challenging looks between Dan and Luis.

I’ve never really been a Manowar fan either. This video is, for me, memorable for two things - the incredible bass playing by Luis, and of course the 30 second+ scream at the end. Otherwise, I agree, it’s way too repetitive. You are definitely fine to express your opinion! That’s what we expect. Thanks for continuing the Dan journey.
I'm totally on your side. I only listen to that song now and again because of that incredible last note 😁 And that's ok, nobody has to like every one of Dan's videos, that doesn't change the fact, that he is an unfathomable awesome artist
@pamelariker5525 -- I totally agree. I'm used to the poor thing after a dozen or so reaction-watches, but that doesn't mean I totally like what happens to it. 😀
I love Dan’s voice and exceptional performance skills. His enthusiasm makes him so much fun to watch. And he really seems thrilled to be performing with someone that he admires. But I’m with you, it’s not one that I will seek out in the future. He has too many others that I would go to instead.
I do have a daily play list of over 200 Dan songs that I play off and on all day; I just don't have every single one on my playlist, because I don't care for some of them.
I understand not liking some songs; everyone loves Dan's cover of Thunderstruck by AD/DC, but I don't care for it myself. Everyone has their own opinion.
Now, THAT one, I love a LOT! In case anyone hasn't see it, it's not in Dan's catalog. You have to go to Orion's Reign to find it. There are two I don't like, though. One is Dan's Ninja Sex Party cover "Orgy for One." However, I actually like "Danny Don't You Know" and "First Date" The other one I don't care for is "Lavatory Love Machine" (Ed Guy). So I just don't watch or listen to those. There are PLENTY of others that I LOVE. 😀
@@GrandmasGotGraceLW so funny as I enjoy NSP “Danny, Don’t You Know”, “ Attitude City” and “Orgy For One”(that one just makes me laugh), but I am not a fan of “First Date”. I agree that his Orion’s Reign’s “Thunderstruck” is great along with the whole “Scores of War” album.
