This video contains two matches I had with the recently buffed LV2 Ez8 WR. It is a 350-450 cost support with pretty good stagger lock ability, great midrange damage, enough weapons to keep up a constant barrage of fire alongside good melee damage. Its main weakness is that it is incredibly slow, but it doesn't have the greatest stagger accumulation either. This suit was recently buffed with 110 walking speed, 135 boosting speed, 54 turning speed, more custom part slots, 3.5 seconds beam rifle focus time, better beam rifle power for all levels, better machine gun power for all levels and 5% machine gun stagger power. I always loved the concept of this suit, but it has never felt truly good until now. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon at LV2 is a 180mm cannon with 1890 power, 6 ammo, 5 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds reload, 1 second swap time, 600m range and 0% stagger value. This has no stagger accumulation at all, but is a high damage and short cooldown splash instant stagger. You can use it to start combos just fine, but I prefer to lead into it from a charged beam rifle shot.
Its primary melee weapon at LV2 is a beam saber with 2100 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and 145% downswing modifier. This has very high power for a supports melee weapon, but your poor mobility combined with lack of balancers means that it isn't very realistic to use.
Its first sub weapon is a vulcan gun with 63 power, 30 ammo, 450 RPM, 8 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 200m range , 472 DPS and 5% stagger value. This can stagger in about 2.6 seconds, but has pretty poor DPS.
Its second sub weapon is a beam rifle with 1250 (1850) power, 50% (85%) heat, 1 second cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m (500m) range, 3.5 seconds focus time and 15% (50%) stagger value. This doesn't stagger unless it is charged, but it has pretty great overall performance for a sub weapon beam rifle.
Its third sub weapon is a machine gun with 150 power, 40 ammo, 296 RPM, 5 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range, 740 DPS and 5% stagger value. Despite the buff, it takes a long time to stagger, about 4 seconds to be exact. It is still decent in terms of DPS though, so it can be worth using after cannon shots.
The LV2 Ez8 WR has 14000 HP, 18 ballistic resist, 13 beam resist and 13 melee resist. This is overall an acceptable level of durability, not the best but not the worst.
In terms of mobility it has 110 (112 including ground affinity) walking speed, 135 boost speed, 45 thrust and 48 (54 including affinity) turning speed. It is a lot faster than it was before, but it is still quite slow in the grand scheme of things. It has worse walking speed than it first seems as well, since rather than having the default 80% side strafing and 70% back strafing speed, it has 70% side strafing and 65% back strafing speed.
In conclusion, I feel that the Ez8 WR has went from being a meme pick to actually being kinda strong. It can absolutely wreck generals with the beam rifle to cannon combo, on top of providing the team with excellent stagger support. I don't think that it is the strongest it could be though, I feel like the machine gun could have been made a bit more practical to use, such as by improving the rate of fire and stagger value. Still, this suit should be an excellent option for most maps. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
