im so happy they finally buffed tristan and been using him in 700 and been having some fun. Also remember that tristan also has higher walking modifiers than most suits so it can effectively bob and weave than most suits and can throw off enemy aim
It'll be interesting to see how my gelgoog himo will do against the buffed Tristan. I was able to out preform the rezel and the mass production zz and other generals at 600. But its nice to see the Tristan get some love.
I only had the level 3 Tristan prior to the buff and I loved using it at 700. It only got better with the release of the Nightengale because it's the perfect counter. The Tristan is so small you can weave right under the Nightengale and obliterate its health with your (frankly absurd) melee damage
It's a little similar to the set up I have for the Alex. I'm currently drawing a blank on the names for all the parts, but I do show a picture of the custom parts in my Alex report video about half way through. The Tristan does have more space though, so I think for this match I also added some custom part to increase its turn rate.
I think you haven't touched the rest of the buffs that the Tristan got. For one thing, not only is the heat rate of its beam rifle a little more manageable, it has a pierce effect on its charged shot, which helps to damage other mobile suits that happen to be between your intended target. The downswing modifier has improved up to 150% and the overall power on its twim beam sabers has also increased, so its melee attacks have an added bite when you close in on the enemy. The 90 mm Arm Gattling Cannon has also improved its overral power starting at lvl. 2 and its has longer range, so that you can pursue & shoot down other opponents much easier. Used in combination with the Tristan Club, and you'll shatter the Damage Control and Manuever Armor effects more quickly.
No. I definitely didn't touch on that. The piercing effect I didn't notice until after. As for everything else, although good adjustments, I felt it would all be information overload. Not that my viewers don't care, I'm sure they do, but to many players (including some veterans) they won't really be noticing a difference at first glance in regards to those other changes. At the very least, this can peek their interest on the Tristan again to see for themselves.
Love the tristan one of my best MS, the weapons buff are good now but the stats for ballistic/beam still locking if they just add a bit of 5 points to both ballistic/beam it be a bit stronger balanced for its lv3 700 cost ver. Btw like the color you have on the tristan.
Other than it being a double Zeta Gundam variant and having the meme beam there’s another important reason why a lot of players in this game treat the FAZZ like royalty. I only discovered your channel now so I don’t know how long you’ve been around but to make a long story short when the 650 cost was still fairly new The game became a nightmare to play in high cost and mixup because the when the qubeley was first introduced it was broken. You could often tell who was going to win a match just by who had more qubeleys. However a few weeks later the perfect suit came out that could counter it in both type advantage and exploit its weak ballistic resistance….. THE FAZZ!!! Even a regular shot from it beam rifle could still do a decent chunk of damage on a qubeley. Admittedly I don’t use the FAZZ as much as I used to but the point is that it came into the game when it was needed most and helped counter the qubeley until it was finally nerfed.
From what I remember, the only real reason the Qubeley was an issue was because it came right after the original ZZ. And the ZZ was quickly outmatched by the Qubeley. That was really it. Players thought they would be equal, but that wasn't the case. And although the FAZZ has its uses, I don't remember it really being that much of a game changer. Then again, I am more of a general main, so it could very well be that I just failed to notice it during the matches.

The Tristan was always a good suit, but not many players liked how some of its weapons handled. Either way... Hey, now you can do even better with it! lol
Tristan needed lots of help. The durability is bad for a 600 general. Its BR is slow while the sturmfaust is slow and quite weak. Slow downswing animation which can be inconsistent for knockdowns cause people will just end up dodgerolling it. Its gattling gun is pretty decent especially if combined with a beam rifle shot for an easy build stun. 205 hsm in a 600 cost is extremely slow. Its walking modifiers are great tho. But now that it has been buffed, lets hope it gets better cause buffs looks promising. Although the durability is still kinda low.
If nothing else it isn't stuck with a hot trash beam rifle anymore. Still has the issue's listed above on top of the fact it has to deal with more insane 600's.
its amazing at 700 map depending tho u wanna make use of the fast walk speed and try to wall peak people or just exploit the fact alot of 4 stats lately dont have damage control and one beam shot and the gatling will speed build stun and that and its new faust both dont care about any beam resist skills so delta and new fa zz can get fucked same w anything w ifield the new fa zz btw is pretty busted i am a support main and its broken tristan needs faster downswing speed tho it’s insanely slow given its got long animation time they should give it the atlas downswing for dual sabers and it would be god tier right now u can stun melee faust melle downswing rifle downswing and do a metric ton of dmg also the tristan really really despite being space compatible is better on ground the faust means splash and easier to use that on ground plus ground is easier for the suit to play peekaboo and just speed walk around waiting for a chance to push someone or finding a good flank no maneuver armor feels rough but w how fast its walk speed is i just skulk around and save thrust for double dodge rolls and bait for tackle the build stun capability absolutely makes hi nu and. nightingale players seethe btw so absolutely exploit it that one shot w rifle to gatling build stun is scary fast and can be wall peeked too overall it feels good its a similar feel to the gp01 buffs of just a solid ok granpa suit being rounded out and being very simple but fun to play post buffs also RIP MK2 stans its buffs were ass also its 650 cost lvl 4 still only gets expansion lvl 1 cuz its a 3 star…. AS A LEVEL 4 fucking giga rip to kyanos too offense system is a scam it needs MA
