I’ve indicated on various Traditional Afrikan Spirituality platforms that I am an advocate for the preservation of Afrikan culture, traditions and of our continuity as a spiritual people due to the fact that religion is destroying us. My respectful advice to Gborbu Wulomor is to remain traditionally consistent by not fusing traditional Afrikan spirituality to Christianity, during ceremonies such as the one we just witnessed. I’ve noticed this on various Gadangbe platforms, where traditional spirituality, though fervently conveyed and practiced, always etched its way into very strong and repetitive Christian proclamations, and I think this must be corrected. We cannot stand on the traditional platforms of Afrikan spirituality, (which obviously remains older than the two thousand year old Christianity forced on us by our European conquerors, colonizers and enslavers), and hand over traditional Afrikan customs and rituals, over to the father, son and Holy Spirit, which the Wolumor mentioned as “ts3l3 k3 bil3 K3 mumor konkron le gb3i amlin...#Dabida 🤔🤔🤔 When are we as people going to learn that every nation has its gods, even though every nation which has clung to its deity continues to prosper around us world wide. A perfect example is China. The Gborbu Wulormor was not ordained as the mouthpiece of our Gods, only to denigrate them while lifting up the white colonial masters’ god as supreme. There must be no Christianization of any Afrikan spirituality practiced on our soil. You will never see this in the Volta region where we also adhere to traditional spirituality like the Gas; We journeyed with them from the land now called Israel and practice the same spirituality. Let us therefore learn to uplift our culture, strengthen our identity, by fearlessly practicing our spirituality without apology, so that we would find favour in the eyes of our Gods. “Man f33 man y3 e blema aloo tsutsu dzamoi... Just as the Lord tells me everyone is WRONG. And until I explain these things they will not understand. While I applaud the work done I think it is erroneous to Christianize our indigenous worship...it is a God-directed worship but not through the believe of Jesus Christ, it is more akin to old Judaic worship...Let's not corrupt things in our quest to provide a modern face to our culture
