[GBVS] Gran Meet Djeeta (New Story) 

I don't remember when was it... Might've been an April fool event. Unconfirmed, but there was an event where player took the POV of Vyrn, and both GranDjeeta are present as captains. Though, how both of them was living before that aren't mentioned...

The only i remember is Doujin where Djeeta is Gran's Senpai and she teach a lots thing to him. Ahm.

That's because they represent two different kind of players, the ftp and the whale. This translated into Gran being the weaker "tries his best" brawler and djeeta being the inherently strong fighting savant.

​@@wolvekrome2475 more accurately, they represent a Beginner Player and an Endgame player. Gran's name comes from the beginning of the game's title *Gran* blue Fantasy. While Djeeta's name comes from the end of the game's title if read in japanese-engrish. Granblue Fanta *sy* (afaik, pronounced as fanta-jii in japanese hiragana)

Fun fact they were going to be twins in the anime but someone from corporate intervened because they wanted the generic boy meets fantasy girl subplot.

They're like brother and sister. Also, i'm pretty sure - spoilers - The True King has their -Mother- Aunt captured. Their mother is somewhat silhouetted, but she has Djeeta's hair color. One can say she looks a tad bit like her.

if you are after Granblue Multiverse, then GBVS is good... since the storyline of the Fighting Game is after Lucillius Falldown [after What Makes The Sky Blue trilogy.] If you are really after the story, I guess you may do GBF over GBVS.

@@fraserodonnell7618 doesn't really matter for me, I always choose Japanese voice over for all JRPG games or animes, I don't like English dub, so does many those played the original game. Tips - English translation always has lost in translation which loses what the character really are, if you understand Japanese you will notice huge difference in personally and meanings. What you saw in the video, around 50% of English sub translation were incorrect vs the JP voice...

Both Gran and Djeeta are the Singularity, they're just the Singularities of different worlds. Even in the original game, the other MC is mentioned as "another Singularity".
