For anyone who is struggling against wake up Dp, practice safe jumps, it beat most offensive options in wake up like Dp and button presses. However in granblue it’s only possible to do a safe jump through a hard knock down to my understanding. Have fun playing ❤
can some explain to me why Koyao doesn’t go for hard kd in the corner for the oki? is it better to allow the air wake up in this situation with Narmaya?
Part of it can be not wanting to use the meter, dumping 50 meter on one hard knockdown isnt worth it in most cases, thats best to close out a round. Ult skills used without canceling also refund 25 meter so using them in neutral, as reversals is preferable to combos for a lot of characters. There's exceptions to every rule, some characters like Avatar Belial and Grimnir can use non-canceled Ult skills in their combos more often than the average character and so they can actually use them more consistently for oki/setups. I'm no expert, but thats my perspective on it at the moment. EX moves not give hkd anymore makes it a lot harder to enforce advantage state in this game
@@indigOwO Also when you air tech, you can't press anything buttons until you land so it's not like they can get away. It just becomes the coin flip of doing a meaty low or wait for the DP.
