Some questions worth pondering.. 1. Why didn't Golathala Team complained it sooner and waited until the last minute? 2. What proof do they have to claim that the defendant (Dhasa team player) is not a Tibetan? 3. Why must the local people use derogatory words, and verbally abuse the team, when they can choose to respectfully question the team and officially file a complain? Why must they act like animal to generate an answer from the other team? 4. Why didn't Golathala team just let the show run and wait for a official decision for later? Why must they be so self-centered? oh yeah; worried about their reputation; but boy; people's money and time were at stake. They got no sponsors!! Anyhow, formal verification is usually a long process and often takes time which the complainant/plaintiff should have understood and cut them some slack. Bhodpa chikpa ra ya!! 5. How does this guy know Dhasa team is powerful and can make a green book in one day? In one day? seriously? I thought it was the hardest job to get a Tibetan Green Book even when one is a genuine Tibetan; even harder than getting an Indian passport. lol. but his unnecessary cynical nature is causing trouble to the continuation of the event. If the defendant is found guilty, they must of course bear the penalty and comply with the rules of GCM. But that doesn't give us the right to unfairly malign the whole team. It is fair to give the team the benefit of doubt and let them play. The decisions and penalties can come later too. Well, I'm ending with an unsatisfactory remarks for the TNSA leadership. Their incompetence in decision making and delegation. Their unprofessionalism. They must make a clear registration pathway for the players to participate and thorough scrutinization of their documents and clear rules. This is a good lesson learned I hope.

After carefully listening to the statements from both sides, it's clear that Golathala is disregarding TNSA's decision and creating unnecessary drama. Who are these Aunties and Amalas to get involved in this issue? Doesn't Golathala have its own sports committee to handle such matters? Furthermore, TNSA's management is demonstrating poor leadership and uncertainty with their numerous decisions, which raises doubts about their competence. I think he is not the right person for the position. Additionally, the accusations and abusive language from Golathala's aunties are unacceptable and show a lack of discretion. It's deeply saddening and disheartening to see this unfold. Regardless of the outcome of the game, it's apparent that Golathala cannot handle losing gracefully.

Why is Lhaksam interested in the GCM controversy? Because I used to be a football player and have played several times in GCM. I am from Darjeeling. That’s why I completely understand the GCM situation and the identity crisis faced within the Tibetan community. I was often called Nepali and bullied numerous times, even though I have had a green book since I was very young. This is a serious issue in our Tibetan community in exile. Long story short, after watching a clarification from the Dhasa team manager, here are my questions: 1. Why does TNSA remain silent? 2. Why did Golathala complain after the game? 3. The Dhasa goalkeeper was not a new player; he already played in last year’s GCM tournament. That tells a lot about his background. Why did Golathala complain after the semi-final? 4. Why is TNSA allowing players’ identification to be rechecked after the semi-final? Organizers and players shouldn’t have any doubts because the documentation of each individual player was already submitted on the first day of the tournament and thoroughly checked by TNSA. 5. Why didn’t TNSA start the final game on time? They should have controlled the situation before the final game. That’s TNSA’s responsibility! Whoever fault it is the way those aunties behaved with Dhasa young players by warning them not to get out and telling them gyami sowa is not acceptable and very disheartening.
