Good afternoon sir, I have a question that I would like to ask, The question states that the boiling points of methanol, ethanol and water are 65°C, 78°C and 100°C respectively, and the questions is: Name the substance that was separated first from the mixture. Explain your answer. I answered it as Methanol, but I don't know how to explain it. Please help me and teach me how to write the explanation. Take your time and thank you.
@@user-yf8wl6ss5bI’m not 100 percent sure and I probably wouldn’t even listen to myself(im 14) but I would say it would be methanol because it has the lowest boiling point so it will turn into vapor first and go through the funnel and into the condenser before the rest of the substances can turn into vapor this probably won’t help you get the marks but I hope I helped
I got an 8 in all my science GCSEs and couldn't have done it without you. I am a home learner aged 18 who left school at age 12 for various different reasons, so I missed out on a lot and decided to relearn a lot at age 16-18 and self-taught using your videos and completed my separate sciences in just 8 months and achieved a grade 8 and I am so thankful for your videos.
This channel is so underrated man, it deserves more attention. I've watched many videos on youtube looking for a good explanation and this's the best one without a shadow of a doubt.
I'm a science teacher, still teaching remotely. This was ideal for my class, as it held their attention (it's interesting) and got the knowledge across in a clear and concise way. Thanks :)
this is a great explanation, why ? distillation isn't a simple task to explain but he did it in just a few minutes by breaking down the most essential parts which led us to understand the topic easily I am so thankful for this !
I swear you explained 50 times better than my teacher. I really appreciate how you put visual presentations in your videos like diagrams and colorful animations and explain in just 5-8 minutes. As an IGCSE student, they help me grasp ideas and understand the concept more clearly than just a 45 minute explanation with little or no diagrams. Thanks a lot, sir. Please don't stop making videos that really help people get good grades in their exams. 💗
really helped it. i just failed a science test, but i will never give up. and thank you for the info abt fractional distillation and simple distillation! :)
I searched many videos belonging to this distillation purification but couldn't find and luckily I got this video it's very easy to understand. Thank you
your videos are so helpful! so straight to the point, with no waffling and have really helped me make revision resources for my GCSE starting after this summer so !! thank you!! take care
Thank you so much for your videos, I am trying to revise for a test and I found the revision guide hard to understand, but this video made it much simpler. Thank you! :)
Honestly, your videos/channel in general are just absolutely amazing! Thank you for everything you have been doing on here, you truly are one of a kind. Thank you.
Thank u so much for this video, I was struggling with my science homework until I came across this video that explained distillation so simply and clearly. Thank you again!!
Tomorrow is my chemistry exam and I didn’t know anything before watching this video I don’t remember anything or any work which my teacher said during class 😂
I just discovered your channels and it's been a great help. All of your videos are so helpful and straightforward u are amazing and thankyou!! I hope the best for your future videos and channel!
