Also, the number of times he says something in a critical way, then proceeds to do the EXACT same thing, and he’ll pause for half a second like he’s realized it, but of course can’t acknowledge the hypocrisy. Just listened to him say he can’t stand people who say I COULD NEVER, then less than a minute later, talking about needing partners with equal or similar habits (drinking, etc.), immediately says “I could never”.🤦🏻‍♀️

West pursued her for sex, not relationship. Ciara like most women goes for guys who are not available or willing to be in relationship. Nick's criticism is valid and he's actually being very soft with it.

She was mature and very clear, articulated what she needed in order to move forward, and gave him the out if he wasn’t going to take things more seriously, and he not only said no to that, and said he WAS interested in further developing the relationship, but then proceeded to do everything that she said she needed to happen in order for her to be more comfortable with getting more intimate with him. You don’t take someone you haven’t slept with yet or aren’t actively dating home to meet your parents, meet all of your friends, spend most days & nights together, going home to families for holidays, etc., do all this, make her feel like you’re committed & really trying to make this work, make her feel solid & comfortable enough to let her guard down enough to have sex, and then immediately start backing away, reveal that you lied to her & her best friend when you said you weren’t sleeping with anyone, when you’ve been sleeping with multiple women the whole time, and then get to act like SHE did something wrong or misinterpreted the relationship. She didn’t, he’s immature AF, he’s manipulative, and he’s a flat-out liar. He very clearly and repeatedly said “she’s going at my speed anyway”, “it’s not about sex”, etc. and stated multiple times that he was interested in pursuing her & growing their relationship after cameras went down. Y’all excuse this stuff, because you’ve been the POS in this scenario yourselves. “Like most women, goes for guys who are not available” tells us all a LOT about who YOU are too. What utter B.S. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🤮 Stop blaming women because men act like 15 year olds well into their 40s & beyond, and can’t just be honest about being a complete f***boy. He should have taken the out when she initially gave it to him, and instead he actively manipulated her by “playing boyfriend”. He’s a teenager. It’s not cute. He’s nearly 30, and this relationship with Ciara is the closest thing to a real relationship he’s EVER had. He went out of his way to gain her trust, which he was very well aware was not easy for her, and then turned into a POS as soon as the show started airing and he started to get some attention from the female bravo fans.🙄 Again, like a teenager. Grow TF up. Stop blaming women because a huge percentage of the male population manipulates & uses women in this way. Change YOUR behavior, y’all. Ciara is not the problem.

... Ciara is allowed to be vocal and make clear how West wronged her. You're assuming Ciara hasn't done any reflection on her part and how she contributed to that pattern when like. Which.. is hard for me to believe. As women, we're conditioned to blame everything that happens to us on ourselves anyway. We do not need a white guy going on a rant about how it's Ciara's fault she got her heart broken when a guy strung her along and, ultimately, traded her out for the option of sleeping around after sleeping with her when she has been consistently clear that she is not interested in sleeping with anyone unless a relationship is attached. This is another example of women being blamed for men's actions. West should have been more transparent with her throughout their situationship. Yep. So many men in the comments trying to say “well, he only wanted sex”, when he was literally nonstop talking about how much he likes her, how he can’t wait to grow the relationship when cameras go down, talking about taking her home to meet his family and then actually DID that…he intentionally did everything that she said she needed in order for her to feel comfortable moving forward intimately, and “played boyfriend” to get what he wanted, and he used his charm to make it seem like he was being genuine. This is definitely what he “does”, and has always done. Ciara is literally the closest thing to a real relationship he’s even had, and he’s nearly 30.🤢🤮🤡 So tired of these men blaming women because a huge portion of the male population are perpetual teenagers who peaked in their emotional maturity in high school. Y’all are STUNTED, but women are the problem? If Ciara had walked away at the horse ranch, I guarantee Nick would have went on a rant about how Ciara needs to learn how to trust more & be more receptive to relationships. 🙄 It wouldn’t have mattered how she handled it, he’s still going to find fault, because, while he’ll never say it out loud for fear of alienating, his “advice” to women consistently in regards to these immature f***boys is lowkey “boys will be boys, what did you expect?” Like I said the other day, you can ALWAYS tell when Nick is attempting to defend behavior that he, himself, definitely used to do in his past.🥱😒

These interviews with problematic men cringe AF. Why is he making this platform the unofficial Gross Men’s Excuse tour? It’s like he’s inviting these (often younger) men on because he WAS these guys, and is trying to justify their behavior to make himself feel better about how he treated people, mainly women.

Nick, once again, doing the ‘boys will be boys’ BS, saying, eh, I think your behavior is pretty normal, that’s the norm of hookup culture, when Ciara, every step of the way, made it 100% clear that she was NOT about that casual hookup life, and he absolutely knew that, and did everything she said she needed in order to be comfortable being intimate, ‘finally’ slept with her, didn’t tell her he was having sex with multiple other women, and then shortly afterwards he was done with her, because he’s a perpetual teenager that just had to go chase all the women bravo fans once the show started airing. It’s WEIRD that this man is continuously defending this gross behavior from manipulative, dishonest men and seems like he’s desperately trying to befriend them all. I’d be looking at him sideways & having some real conversations if I were Natalie.

My biggest problem with what West did was he knew Ciara didn't take sex lightly and it was meaningful to her. She wanted a relationship. There are plenty of women that don't feel that way and have uncommitted/casual sex. She made that very clear and that she had trust issues too. He brought her home to meet his family and from what she said after filming was spending every day with her. Given what she told him, I feel he led her on. Although he's for sure a likeable guy, what he did sucked and he broke her heart. It was selfish on his part. I'm so glad Paige is such a loyal friend and was there for her. I hope he learns from this and dates girls who aren't looking for relationships and commitment but, I don't think he will. He was after the chase.

I dont understand why Nick is so quick to give West a pass. I will say West reminds me of a lot of guys in the city where they are super self aware of image and how theyre being perceived but theres not much depth. Its fine if West doesnt want a serious relationship and its fine if he decided hes not interested in Ciara anymore but he was very much pretending to be someone he was not throughout that season. Even now listening to the way he talks on this podcast, he seems very much in his head and like self absorbed and concerned about how the audience is going to react to him which is pretty much polar opposite of the West people really gravitated to on the show. Hes still young enough to get away with being a douchebag unscathed but I think hes lost a lot of peoples respect. Nick can defend him til the cows come home - he very intentionally led Ciara on and eveyone knows it.

West is using all the therapy phrases and listing all the reasons why he is the way he is and Nick keeps saying that's a good point, that's reasonable. Yes, all these are good to know for the people so they'll stop dating you! but listing all the traumas is not the point!! The point it to know them and fix our behaviour based on what we learn about ourselves. Him being "enlightened" about himself shouldn't give him a free pass to screw girls up !! That's just keep being a bad person. Maybe Ciara should have left him when he showed her who he is, but did he actually show her who he is? I don't think so!!

Is it just me, or is West a bit all over the place? He seems to be trying to censor or craft what he's saying in real time because he doesn't know which way the conversation will be perceived. He also appears to be preoccupied with how things are viewed through the lens of fame. He needs media training to help him convey a solid thought. However, at the same time, it's like he's hiding what he really wants because he feels odd admitting he wants the fame, etc. That's the vibe I got from this interview and the reunion.

I used to really like this podcast but I feel like Nick is missing the boat. First, with his opinions about Jo and now with Ciara. Women have enough people trying to manipulate them into being in a relationship without being in a relationship, and those men don’t need your platform to make excuses. When he defends people like this it makes it really hard to like him. Also, just because you are married doesn’t make you a relationship expert and I don’t know why anyone takes his advice anymore.

Many times the household gets the facts from reality TV stories incorrect and sometimes it confuses the audience. For me example Carl and Captain Lee bonded originally because Carl lost his brother to addiction and Captain Lee lost his son to addiction not because they bonded over their sobriety. Maybe you need an additional household employee. There are a lot of shows to cover

Captain Lee lost his son to a drug overdose and when Carl lost his brother for the same reason Captain Lee reached out to him and they became really close. Captain Lee helped him a lot during his sobriety. Captain Lee backed him up with the whole Lindsey thing and really supported him. He offered Carl to come and talk his side with him on his show. It sounds like it went well and then a few days later Carl called him and blew up at Captain Lee. From what I heard Captain Lee was talking to someone and they were siding with Carl because Captain Lee was friends with him and Captain Lee said he sees Lindsey side when she was talking about Carl's temper because he did see that side of Carl and then that went viral. I don't really feel that was Captain Lee's fault. He said one thing and then everyone ran with that.

I’ve been feeling like this for a while but this interview confirmed it. It feels like Nick interviews these reality show people (especially Bravolebs) to be able to claim them as friends and legitimize himself as a reality TV star. He’s consistently saying he gets it even though his stint on reality TV was almost a decade ago and was way less deep dived into his life than Bravo shows are and have always been. It’s feeling icky, like at his big age he’s trying so hard to be friends with the popular kids that he’s defending their problematic behaviors so they’ll like him. It’s very interesting to watch him be a pick me while calling other people pick me’s.

Why is Nick SO triggered by Harry?😳 These long rants about him, show after show, are getting weird & embarrassing. Also, how are you going to be so critical of a guy that at least is being OPENLY shitty with his behavior, so at least women have a better and accurate understanding of who he is & how he moves, but you’re continuously making excuses for the guys you have on who are extremely manipulative, deceptive, and flat-out dishonest!? West is no better than Harry. In fact, he’s worse, because he’s intentionally trying to manipulate women into a situationship, while sleeping with other women, and lying about it - and that’s literally a potentially health-threatening situation that he’s put her in, that she didn’t even know. Disgusting. He could’ve been honest & taken the out Ciara gave him, but instead he chose to pursue her under the guise of building something more serious, all the while sleeping with other women, took her home to meet his parents, spending most days/nights together, met all the friends, took vacations, etc. all to get her to trust him enough to sleep with her, and then left her hanging soon afterwards, when he started to get attention from some female bravo fans? Again, like a teenager. And, again, he could have told her that he’d decided that he wanted to be single & unattached once the show started airing, and he continued to wave away her concerns, and continued to lie & pretend he wasn’t sleeping with these other women. Adored him at first, and now just seeing his face gives instant ICK.🤢🤮

Wes is a child. But he is sweet. I'd hate to hate this guy. Feels like I have dated this guy twice in my 20s. Broke my heart and planed a future for no reason. Some ppl need to be more introspective and Wes is one of those

Best advice ever! Nick said “she won’t want to just be your number one girl, she wants to be your only girl.” Facts. My handsome husband and I have been married for 23 years… that’s it! When I knew I was his “only girl,” I knew I was his forever person. Relationships are tough, but good ones are always worth it.

Yup, and didn’t make any real efforts to work during that time, when he could have picked up a million different jobs in freaking NY while he was looking for a new permanent position, and instead just partied like crazy & blew through said severance in those like 7 months. Just speaks to his level of immaturity. Who just f**** off for 7 months at 28/29 years old? Like Ciara said, he’s just not a serious person. It’s not cute; you’re almost 30. The Christmas Eve present opening is pretty common in Latin culture. Midnight present opening is a catholic religion/latin thing. Married into a Colombian family. They were very upset when the younger, born in US generation wanted their kids to open presents in the morning.

I feel like West didn’t like Ciara as much as she liked him and he got too far into it and then probably didn’t want to hurt her feelings by being honest. Even at the reunion though, when he was being asked about Ciara and why he ended things, what is he supposed to say, “I just wasn’t really into her”? I don’t think he ever really committed to being in an actual relationship with her. I mean I feel like it’s one of those things that Ciara had to kind of read between the lines. I feel like his problem is that he KNEW her feelings and kept pushing his agenda anyways.

West - it’s going to take commitment my guy. The right girl isn’t going to make you stop being who you are. My husband is the same way, tells everyone he loves them, calls his friends baby etc. however, he goes above and beyond to show in public that I’m his wife, he’s vocally “obsessed” with me and makes it VERY clear that he’s taken. Because of that, I couldn’t care less and actually love that part of his personality! We’ve been married 10 years and have four babies!! You’re a great guy, don’t change, just reallocate a little bit and trust yourself!! 💛

I remember when Nick said Ciara was using Wes just for the show and that she was not really into him. I'm curious as to what his thoughts are about it now. Now he seems team Wes. Although I do agree with him saying that Ciara did have a way out. She just seemed to wish her way though this situationship and it didn't turn out as she wanted.

Your view on guys girls and girls girls was very interesting! I am the one who take my guy friends baseball cap or joke around all the time, however if they treat my girl anyless or even their girlfriend I always stand on the girl’s side, because I know if they allow themselves to bring a girl down infront of me or treat them prooly, they will eventually do it to me! Or maybe their daughter one day, however I never look at wearing someone baseball hat or joking around as a sign that I cant have girls back!

In today’s world, for safety reasons mainly & being able to communicate with family easier when traveling, etc. there ARE a lot of Amish folks that will bring a very basic phone with them. Also, depending on how young the person is, she could have been on her time away (Rumspringa is not just for men, hasn’t been that way in most communities for many decades), trying to decide if she wants to stay in the community or go out into the world on her own, and there have been young folks murdered from these communities while they are out in the world experiencing so many new things for the first time, as they’re often just naive and ignorant in terms of who to trust, etc., coming from very sheltered & often isolated communities. Families will usually send their kids with some sort of device that they can check in with or use if they run into any kind of trouble, need help, are confused, etc., because they know that they can be very vulnerable.
