GDPR isn't hard to understand. If car registrations came under GDPR then car owners would have cover them up, but a car reg is literally the opposite and must be visible and on display. So basic.
The nice salesman and the lovely lady gave off lovely vibes and it felt like a nice atmosphere in there, then the manager spoilt the whole thing lol, personaly i think he had an attitude, theres always one to spoilt it, good video tho i enjoyed it DJ xXx 💕
All was so great, the receptionist and the salesman really made you feel welcome and it was a place I would like to buy a car...just until the manager came on and poured the hole dealership down the toilet. Poor staff, they all did so good.
GDPR does apply to car number plates. But only for the company holding the information. Not the general public. The company can't do anything about the number plate itself as that is supposed to be seen by everyone. What the data protection act applies to is that the connection between number plate and the owner of the car has to be kept confidential and the release of this information has to be controlled. Again someone who fails the data protection training and not realizing that the onus is on the company to keep it private. That does not mean that they can interfere with people's rights or control what people do when they do see information. The company should've kept the data private. But if they do let the data slip out, then the "crime" has been committed by the company, not the person who was not authorized to see the information.
Great interaction with the sales guy and receptionist. I think your right about the managers and authority. Positive criticism film a few cars. Interior, car and price. I get its PINAC. Any manager watching it will feel your just there for a reaction then gone.
will be good for viewing man. I watched the one you done at Farnborough and a few other Audi centres. They seem to think they're self entitled and i think you would get the best interactions there. Just my opinion mate but hope you can do a few in the future. Have a great day bud! @@DANSADVENTURE69
The first bloke was very nice bloke the second bloke proper ruined the video idiot him I could tell soon as he came out before he spoke to you it was the way he was looking at you I just new he was going to say something to you and not agree always get one dj ay
PLEASED TO SEE A LIVELY SALESMAN IN ROGER. He gets the idea of presenting himself as if on stage. I recall this dealership opening in Chiswick having travelled in the area for some years. The point raised in the video by Chris Wall the Aftersales Manager at Volvo Cars West London sounded odd. Having checked GDPR via the ICO it seems that were a registration number caught on film and there is no other identifiable data presented to create a link as in this case then what we have is anonymous data which is not subject to GDPR. Having highlighted this on video there is a now a chance for the dealer or Endeavour Automotive as a group to address re-training staff as who knows what else is not clear to them that could be an issue for customers. Quite concerning really. Thank you.
