Many thanks Chris! Not for a while yet... This is just the government's response to the consultation (and responses to it), so it's indicative of what will go into the draft Bill we've yet to see. That Bill will need to go through the usual processes in both houses before becoming an Act so there's a ways to go before we have certainty. But it's good to know the government isn't going forward with some of the bigger proposals, though some still raise key concerns. We'll need to see the Bill and see how it's received in Parliament (nothing predictable in the current environment there...).
