Here is a clock video for anyone who was wanting one. this is a clock i got some years ago from i think Goodwill. its in real nice condition. and runs and works perfect. but its missing the model number sticker.
Those were the best clocks. Simple, and since they were driven by the 60Hz frequency, they were pretty good at keeping time. Full manual controls on the back, analog face, never exacting but always pretty close, what's not to love? These used to be common at garage sales 20 years ago, not much anymore. It's too bad people would throw out something like that, made in USA, for a piece of China Pride, only because it's digital and people have a hard time reading analog clocks. I remember they taught us how to read the clock in the first grade. They had a non-motorized clock they would point to a particular time and have us read it. Now kids just check their phone, in the first grade. Tsk, tsk.
Ah, I taught my self how to read analog clocks. (The school had a non motorized clock for teaching time as well. The school eventually got renovations, and when they were replacing all the clocks (I think everyone in the school knew I was a clock fan) I got first pick on all the old analog clocks they were going to give away or something along those lines. I still have it in my basement. I don't understand why everyone needs a phone all of a sudden, teens and even those grade ones you mentioned. We can both say that nobody had phones in grade one in that time. I must have been in one of the last grade one classes without phones and ipads. (maybe the 3rd or forth last?) I think you can make a pretty good estimate of my age (judging by my youtube videos)
