didn't help much. why would i go with the second one besides looks when i could het the 1.0 and it has the extra tank attachment as well? i just got the 1.0 due to amazon prime deals but I just saw there's a 2.0 but how is it better?

Does the ice melt or will it stay cold and store ice?

If it melts, I haven't noticed it. It runs when you take out ice and once full, it stops running and the ice is there until you need it. The thing is loud when running, but silent for the most part until you open it.

mine looks like the opal 2.0 however my filter in the base unit is on the right and i only have 1 round button in the middle of mine. there is a switch on the back to enter cleaning mode. so it's not a 1.0 and not a 2.0. but it does have the tank on the side. so now i'm confused

Any problems with “squealing” on your unit? Others commented in your other video about this problem and was wondering if you encountered the same. Thanks
