Hello these things come with little to no instructions even with the booklet. What type of pans do you use for the microwave/convection? Can you use a metal cookie sheet? Do you always use the round metal rack when baking? Do you have a video link for instructions? Thank you in advance!
I use the metal rack most of the time for convection because it cooks more evenly. I don't use it when microwaving. I use oven safe dishes. Haven't tried metal cookie sheet, but it would be fine, only in convection mode though.
I just got this combo oven. It seems ridiculously involved to even microwave for 3 minutes (must push 3 buttons at least). But what I really am confused about is that there doesn't seem to be a pre-heat option for the bottom oven on "bake", without the convection. It's hard to believe that you can just stick a cake in there to bake without preheating. What's the story, do you know?
I might put a video together to show you how. The quick way I heat stuff in the microwave is push the add 30 button, twist the nob to the time you want and hit start. For preheating push "bake" or "convection bake" based on how you want to cook, it defaults to 350, then twist the nob to temperature you want and hit start, then oven preheats and you can see temperature rise, it beeps when preaheated. Hope that helps.
I have never used the top microwave feature has an oven. If I'm baking a boneless leg of lamb do I need the rack or can I put it on top of the glass. Also, is it always going to rotate while cooking for two hours? Thanks!
Thank you for your feedback. Do you recommend it or not? What about the cooktop? Would be possible to share your feedback if you have an induction cooktop?
Been happy with it, I'd recommend it. No experience with induction cooking. I understand they're very efficient and cook nicely like gas, more expensive to buy and need electricity.
how do you use the microwave and oven simultaneously? The setting only operates on one side at a time ... other side then not functional. ??? ALSO, Neither the top oven nor the bottom oven when turned on and it says 350 ... is NOT 350 at all. Does someone need to come out to caliberate the ovens?
