Video was spot on! Bought the tank on line less than $30. Took my time following EVERY step. Problem solved. (great opportunity to thoroughly clean fridge) Thanks so much.
Thank you for such a concise helpful video. I got down on my back, side, knees and had my laptop next to me, putting in my new tank right along side you.
I had the same problem. Lots of air pressure built up in the lines so I disconnected each hose connector and let out lots of air. But now my water line is still frozen on the freezer side. These refrigerators are notorious for that.
nice job BUT you don"t have to take all the stuff out and off, all you have to do is take out the 2 bottom shelves (crisper and meat draw) then unscrew the white plastic cover on top of the tank (2 screws) and follow the rest of the video no need to take out all the top shelfs and the light cover etc.......believe me I've replaced mine 3 freakin times they freeze up and split resulting in water at the bottom under the crisper ....if you don't get water open the fridge door and try to fill a glass of water you'll hear a hissing sound and that's the problem ....easy fix good luck!!!1
