Very nice setup! I love watching other’s riders setup, I always find some interesting peaces of gear that I might consider use myself, is it to much to ask to list all the items in the video description? cheers from Norway.
Nice set up. You pack like I do, definitely not ultralight! Unless I missed it, one thing I didn’t see was some camp shoes (crocs, sport sandals, flip flops, etc.)
Hope to meet you this year, dot watcher approximately 1,841 from start, ute pass between kremmling & Silverthorne colorado. Marker & water cooler at road, property to stay ALL riders.
Nicely done. Very informative. What does the bike weigh unloaded and loaded (no food/water, just gear)? Seems like it would be on the heavy side. Thanks.
The bike by itself is only about 22lbs. I haven't weighed it loaded. I am certainly not focused on going super light like many Tour Divide racers do. I was focused on adequate space for food, water, camera gear and appropriate clothing for Northern Alberta.
I remember, great to meet you and talk for a bit. In the process of editing all the footage I got from the trip now. Hope the rest of your summer went well.
Ps tip keep the garmin in in reach on you not on the bike i came off on a trail ie Ho Chi Minh Vietnam and bike went over the cliff it took me 3 hours to get to the bike to hit the button since then i keep it on me not on the bike
Riders should know, between Williams fork reservoir (kremmling colorado) and Henderson mill (ute pass Silverthorne) the county will be grading and mag chloride applied starting the 24th about 12 miles of road, Katja got caught in it last year messing up her brakes after going down the pass. MM 14.5 is cooler road with bike marker, I host here go thru small gate. Spread the word, I'm not internet savvy
I have never weighed the bags and whole setup; not sure I want to know. It is heavy as far as bike touring goes for sure. Micro video production on two wheels.
@@wax_tracks yes the standard bags they have on there website are smaller to tight of a fit for drone and controlerjust send them message and say you want the bigger bag that you made custom for mark in Vietnam then your stuff will fit no problem
Thank you very much explaining gear “stuff” two weeks ago I bought THE BIKE for my next year GDMBR! Now I am testing it and all new gear for bikepacking. This will help me dearly! Thanks
