I found this link to a picture of what it looks like though night vision www.warrelics.eu/forum/attachments/collections-display/723148d1407055364-post-1945-cams-500px-czechoslovak_rain_ir-1-.jpg
I havn't had a proper chance yet to test the Czech raindrop against the East German but I think the East German colour would work better overall due to it being a colour that occurs more, the brown/yellow blends with most trees and urban colours as well as yellow grass, the Czech one is a good shade for winter though.
Ah yes I like bomber jackets, I have the dark blue one and the inside is bright orange incase of an emergency where you turn them inside out. Reason I like all this Warsaw Pact gear is it turns up really cheap now online. Best deal I got was a East German greatcoat for about £15 and most of that was the postage price.
Nice, i do like Warsaw pact raindrop pattern, one of my favorites is the Bulgarian one (but is pricy). Are you going to get the trousers to go with the coat? Also would you do a full gear on the Czech Warsaw pact?
thanks for shooting a video of this jacket i haven't been able decide if i want to buy one. I'd also never heard of the strichmuster rain pattern. If you ever care to you should 'model' this stuff, just walk around a bit outside to get a better idea of its character. I think I'm gonna play it safe and get one of the old German NATO Army parkas, But I'm still tempted by these. I like that the pattern has an element of kitsch and is almost not camouflage.
Hi, I've seen this coat advertised with a button in liner, without a liner, and sometimes without mention of a liner. Does your parka have a liner and what does it look like? Thanks a lot!
I don't find these all that warm in really cold weather, its probably because im jsut wearing a shortsleeve shirt underneath but i get cold in colder weather does it work when its chilly yeah i have no complaints hell its effectively my fall jacket but when its winter eh depends Oklahoma has a hard time deciding the temperature unless its summer
