I’ve been a huge fan of G-Tech hard drives for several years now, I’ve got a few and really like how durable, reliable, and honestly how pretty, they are. So when I saw these TINY little drives come out I was really interested and picked up one pretty quickly. Check out the video for all my thoughts, but overall this little hard drive is an absolute winner for me (I’ve already bought more).
PROS:
TINY, durable, water and dust proof, short cord reduces clutter, FAST, Windows/Mac compatible, so so sexy.
CONS:
$$$ 😭😭, limited size/storage options (only up to 2TB), not an entry level drive.
Overall it’s nice to know that there is a functional and durable hard drive out there that can fit the high-speed data needs that many of us have. Yeah, the cost is not insignificant, and it’s certainly not an entry level drive, but if you’re serious about your footage and want to have one of the best, and ones of the smallest, hard drives out there then you need to consider picking up one of these G-Tech R-Series Mobile SSDs.
