My review of the new Gruv Gear Kapsule Duo, designed for transporting two electric basses to a gig. A combination of a hardshell case and a gig bag, I get into the pros and cons of this new entry into the market.
I do not think the neck rest detaches, but I honestly have never tried. It's pretty tight fit in there though for just a bass, so it might be tough to squeeze a mono bag in there. I have a Mono Vertigo bag and I don't think it will fit inside the Kapsule (if I wasn't out doing a run of shows right now I would actually try it to see).
No offense, but why would you buy a $400 hybrid bag just to stick another $200 bag inside? Stupid waste of money. You can buy an abs or flight case for $150-200 good enough to check any instrument, or if you're doing carry on just use the Mono. If you have $400 burning a hole in your pocket just send it to me instead.
@@EpictheEpicest Because Flight Cases weight a Ton, and cant really carry them around to gigs in your back like a Mono gig bag, and also because i already own a mono gig bag :)
