Hi Brian. thank you for this encouraging vid. I am in the decision phase and probably own one very soon. So please carry on with insights of this product. As you said: set it and forget it. Other products involve a separate person at a gig so if you are just a single show person this tool is more than handy.

Thanks for the video. I'm looking into adding Sound Switch to my arsenal to help step up my game for 2018 and going forward. Mojax mentioned in his video, that in cases where the venue has their own setup, this could be used to add a small additional synchronized light show of your own right at the booth... I'm a mobile DJ and when I do events at bars and such I usually bring my own PA and lighting because not many of the places in my area have installed gear. I think Sound Switch will really bring my performances to the next level and help me distinguish myself from others around here. Thanks again for the video... I subscribed and will try and check out some more on your channel soon. +1 for the EV in the background, EV for the WIN!

Thanks for watching and commenting Isaiah! I have brought a few lights with me into venues and it worked well once we adjusted the venue's lighting! Let me know how it goes for you!

Hi Brian. Thank you for the honest review of the Soundswitch product. I am a mobile dj looking to purchase this system. I had a quick question. Does the interface work well with Donner wireless transmitters?

Another cool app like Serato and Mix Emergency. NZ made! LOL I have had my box for a year. The club I work in has no idea what model the lights are. Makes it hard for a club dj to plug in even after I got past the "Can I just unplug this DMX plug speeeeal". yeah you're right about club djs finding it hard but then if you owned a club and you wanted a dope lighting show you would already have 1 of these available for the dj wouldn't you? lol Anyway I have a question, how do I send Serato through the nexus to another Mac running Sound Switch and having it synced to the beat grids on Mac1? Ableton Link doesn't work yet does it? Also, do you know where can I get pre-scripted tracks from? Cool video mate, thanks

Karl! Thanks for watching and for the questions. As for running through the nexus to another computer I am not sure that is possible right now but I will look into that. As of right now there are no pre-scrpited track available that I know of. Due to variations in files get a file for a song and then linking it to your audio might not work. With the latest version of SoundSwitch there is automation to program tracks super fast! Every release so far workflow gets better. Also remember there 32 auto loops that you can program so that tracks without a script will still have a show and stay fresh.

Thanks for the review Brian! I'm currently using MyDMX 2.0. Does SoundSwitch work in conjunction with other Software/Dongles... or does it totally replace them?

Hi Andy! SoundSwitch is a proprietary box, the software only works in conjunction with the SoundSwitch Hardware, and as far as I know the box does not work with other software, though I haven't tried.
